9 ай бұрынPrithvi Shaw secured his place in the record books with a magnificent 244 off just 153 balls to set up an 87-run victory over Somerset in the Metro Bank One Day Cup at Wantage Road.
Shaw’s innings was Northamptonshire’s highest ever score in List A cricket and the sixth highest worldwide in List A history.
The Indian international put on a batting masterclass blasting 11 sixes and 28 fours. Along the way he eclipsed his undefeated 227 for Mumbai against Puducherry at Jaipur in 2021. He also moved past Ben Duckett’s 220* for England Lions against Sri Lanka A in 2016 to post the second highest ever List A innings made in England. Only Alistair Brown with 268 for Surrey against Glamorgan at the Oval in 2002 has scored more.

@@mayank.gaurav He has recently opened up about how he has no one to speak to as a friend, his struggles with mental depressions and his fight with his inner demons. What really will help is people stopping picking out on him and body shaming him and trolling him. Once he is in right mental space everything will fall in its place. Just because me/you gain confidence by getting a hair transplant doesn’t mean it does the same to him as well.

And who are these English cricketers- none of these opponents are in reckoning for the English international side. Most of the big players are participating in the 100. Itna bhi low self esteem mat rakho . And the second point about English conditions - only in test cricket the English swing conditions are valid. For one day and t-20 they make the flattest pitches and the white ball has less pronounced seam that the red dukes ball. Not saying that this innings is totally useless, but it sort of doesn’t have that much value unless he can do it consistently

Every attribute is important but mostly it is mental ability and skills developed....Agar fitness priority h toh Rohit Sharma ka kya????...Yeh agar India team mein continuous perform karega 3-4 yrs yeh same current body k saath toh sab chalega phir ..bas baat h chance ki k ise kab milega ek sahi mauka..lekin sirf ek do match nahi atleast 5 continous match taaki apni potential dikha sake agar phir bhi nahi karega tab baat aur hogi phir..lekin he deserves respect k he is trying hi best anyhow ...off the field we are no one to decide lekin on field pe we can discuss..✌️
