He is a joke of a prince who is trying desperately to survive. The grip the French government has on him is tightening every day. But you won't see the struggles he suffer on what is shown to you. France is strangulating Monaco more and more.

I was so happy that Prince Albert finally founded apparent happiness with an exceptional wife and the father of their beautiful twin children! He was blessed to have had parents who endowed him with the genetics to be a monarch that I hope will give him the dedication to protect his country. I am also that through his hidden years that he loves & more than appreciate all that his sister Princess Caroline has done for him and country. God bless you and may you also always know that America feels that you are like a relative living abroad and that your mother instilled in you an appreciation for The American Constitution!

He exudes warmth and friendliness not arrogance he also radiates like he’s happy from the inside you can tell his people love and respect him...my daughter and I visited Monaco many years ago a beautiful charming principality was struck at how well Prince Albert kept it together the cleanest city I have ever been .......impressive!

You should spend 10 minutes looking at Mediterranean Cruises that include a stop there or near there. Monaco is closer and more affordable to visit than you might expect. I was fortunate enough to stay several weeks in the region and returned via Cruise ship a few years later. If this is your dream. Do it.

Prince Albert's French is impeccable. His English is great too. I don't care too much for royalty, but I have to say I am so impressed at how down to earth he is and how comfortable he is with the people. Really nice to see that. Lovely relationship with mom. That mothers day card was so beautiful. Monaco is stunning, wow .

Our monarchies reflect our countries. Monaco has a more relaxed, warm nature, I suppose because it is on the Mediterranean. In northern Europe we are more formal and our monarchy reflects that. Even further north and the Danish people are very relaxed and their monarchy again reflects that.

I have always watched Prince Albert. I like his mother's dimple that peeks out when he smiles. I think he is so chilled because of his American roots. He and his sisters hung out with and still do, with American cousins and grandparents.

@Margaret Gust Caroline was very close to Lizanne Kelly-LeVine's daughter Grace Levine. Pity she died of cancer in 1999 at the age of 43. You can see her in the picture of Caroline's wedding to Junot....she's the blond right behind her when they're walking down the cobblestone streets.

Visiting Monaco you get to experience a real life Magic Kingdom. It is more beautiful, inviting and accessible than you might expect. While it is a concrete jungle of sorts it is a gilded one and has an aura or vibe you don't get anywhere else.

I love the Grimaldi’s. They are very down to earth monarch. By just watching them all on any gathering they all look so lovely. The real deal! His mother and father would be so proud! I remember standing near him while he was waiting for his turn in the 2000 torch relay in Sydney and his easy-going banter with the local punters. No cameras anywhere!

Prince Albert seems extremely down to earth and personable and funny. I don't get the impression because of his incredible wealth, privilege and title that he thinks he's better than other people. What a breath of fresh air. I could not see the UK monarchy doing anything like this. Showing they're regular people despite their pedigree and titles. Maybe Prince Harry .... a long time from now if ever.

Albert sounds so American that it is easy to forget he is the ruling prince of Monaco. Of course, having an American mother and her relatives, plus frequent trips to Philadelphia, and going to college in the U.S. helped "Americanize" him, but he seems like a really down-to-earth American guy.

ericandsarahsmom1000 he has an American accent which is easy to achieve. Actually English is quite an easy language with a simplistic grammar. He is not an American guy by any means his sense of history and education don’t fit that stereotype at all.

It amazes me how quick people are to judge just on the emotions of the bride when she married Albert and saying he was cold. How is it the looks on ones face makes people jump to negative comments. I watched their wedding and only saw a very touching emotional young lady who truly loves her Prince. So many emotions run thru our hearts when we get married. It is a great undertaking. Let alone try and do it in the presence of millions. Princess Grace can be very proud of her son and what he has accomplished. May God bless them always. I have only positive and kind words to speak of them.
