In this clip taken from Ep. 119, Morgan Lerette describes being a private military contractor for Blackwater in 2004. Lax on oversight, PMCs could be fired for almost anything but would be rotated to a different part of Iraq and asked to work under a different contract. Morgan details this and other aspects of working as a PMC.

Kinda weird how he smiled when talking about slamming into that civilian kia. This is why I don’t like most contractors.

It depends. There are private firm’s that won’t except anyone that wasn’t tier 1/2, and then you’ll have some that will accept tier 1/2 dudes AND civilians with exceptional abilities and certs. Obviously black water would have a bit higher standard because they’re essentially the “McDonald’s” of PMC’s in the way of being most known, but places like Leviathan would take on SOF dudes, LEO, and highly skilled yet very regular guys. 🇺🇸
