WOW! Maybe a better exhibit than any other collection. A classic display from a class owner, no conceit here just a love of Vettes! Thank you to camera operator and sound engineer for a great presentation. And thanks to everyone else who put this together. Maybe one day he’ll let others visit the collection.

Beautiful Cars. Thanks for sharing. My brother has 3 67 vettes, Red, White and Blue. All 4 spd and with 427 L88 in the Red one. I went to Nam in 66 having left my 65 GTO Behind. I returned and my GTO was gone and my Brother was driving the 67 Red car. I could go to war, but could not own a car. Anyway, My brother still has the Red original car. I drive it sometimes. Has the side pipes and that engine is a cop magnet with the side pipes. Love that car. The Blue and White cars are also original and in good shape. but with the 327's in them. Again thanks for the Tour.

Gotta add..those 07&16 --Z06'S weren't to shabby either!👍 My love started for the Corvette in 1991,I found a 1963 split-window with the Ac too all original as far as I knew then for $7500.00 bucks just sitting on some random outa the way car lot. My have times changed.It was the same color 'silver'as the second;63 you showed us. Yeahhh...Just like so many other people out I'm kicking myself in the butt for selling it. Along with all the MOPARS.... Cudas, Chargers,and 2 Super-Bees None where Hemi's But all big blocks& most 4-speeds😁 Those where the days!!!! One dollar per cubic inch we paid for the engines outa the junk yards. 440's for $440.00 after we blew them up beating the snot outa them.

What a great collection of Corvette's I personally own a C4 1986 bought from original owner with 19,222 miles, black with the silver interior. It rides like a 60's car but hey its a Vette and I enjoy driving it on nice days. I also live in the Phoenix Metro area and some day I will make it to Route 66 just to say I did it.
@gort3111 Жыл бұрын
I'm in the Phoenix area too,we got alot of vettes around here. The oldest I've seen on the road was the c5 but I bet the c4 is a beauty in person.

55 and 56 had 265 V8's The Z06 has the most expensive Master Cylinder you have ever heard about... Last I checked they were about $25,000.... yes you read that correctly. TWENTY FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS. Myself and another guy pulled a Z06 out of CO 7 years ago which had been in place since the late 60's when it was wrecked supposedly at PIKES PEAK. First vette I ever drove was a glen green over white interior 65 L76 Roadster w/side pipes. I have a Brandshatch Green 71 LT1 surivor and the only FACTORY BLACK 1971 LT1 (ncrs verified).

Beautifull Collection , he s doing it correct with the hous and Showroom he is correct on may people not realizing the Corvettes started out with the 6 Cylinder Engines the Irony of that was it started a major trend in Hot Rodding because the Secret got out that Truck engines typically had a Forged Crank and some “Beefed” Up internals to handle the tourque and other demands Trucks were put under for working nd hauling heavy Loads that is very similiar to what Marine Engines demand a lot of people with Boats and Hot Rods used to buy up all the Truck motors at ScrapYards because of those details in Construction i restored a 1964 Chris Craft Cabin Cruiser that had GM 283 twin engines in it in the 1990s and i had a very hard time finding a good 283 to convert to Marine eventually i found a guy that restored a Impala and the car was Totaled and he pulled the engine for his next project we struck a deal and that Block is still in my old boat on this Collection i like the idea that he has Tags on almost all his cars which usually indicates he drives them on Occassion which is Awesome too many people don’t get to enjoy their Cars as Cars

In the late sixties the B Modified 1/4 mile oval track cars had to be sixes and they ran 292 Chev and 300 ford truck engines. Many of them could beat the V8 powered A modified cars.

The 61 doesn't have the 4 round tail lights. 62 was the first year for them and carried over to the 63 just like the red split window fullie I have the was my father's. I've restored a many Corvettes. And yes women no how to do that kinda thing also. My daddy worked at the Corvette plant in st. Louis until they moved it in 1981-1/2. He thought me a lot about them and they were his passion and sadly he lost his life in one a 81 he owned since new and had a wreck father's day June 19, 1988. He left behind 7 Corvettes. 😢.
