Ngl, if therapists want people to feel like they wont be judged, the blank slate seems quite counter-productive to be honest w you. It really reminds you that they're putting on a mask to do their job, and who knows wth they're actually thinking. Because you are a human being and your clients know it, so if you're not letting that show, you're just letting them fill in that blank with their own- possibly quite anxious- imagination.
