10 days ago I got PRK and everything was going well and my sight was improving in both eyes. A week after I went back and got the contacts removed. My left eye the vision is almost perfect now. The right eye the night they took the contact out felt like sand was in it, it wattered, was hard to open and got blurry. It's been really blurry for the past three days with no improvement. It's almost as bad as before the surgery. What is going on and will it fix itself?

Its been about 3 weeks after prk surgery. My right eye is 6/6 but my left eye is blurry. Doctor told there is a scratch in your eye may be due to something went in your eye. Now he told it will take around 1 month. But i feel very uncomfortable when i use laptop because it affects near as well as far far vision. Anyone face this issue?

Hi i got PRK surgery done on 9th may 2022 its just been 15-16 days but after one week like you said i started working on my PC and phone i work atleast 12 hours n I've noticed that im still not able to see things clearly from a far distance. Is it because of continuous usage of pc and phone or is it normal. Should i stop cause stopping my work is kinda difficult. Is it fine that i stare at these devices for long time. Cause I'm really scared where i might get my eye power back due to this constant staring at PC and phone

I did my PRK on 13th July 2020 and first day was the worst, so much irritation in the eye , I was not able to open my eyes to put drops in. I pulled my eyelids and put drops somehow, the next morning was good, the irritation was in cycles and would go away after putting the drops. On 16th July I had the protective lens removed by doctor. I still do not have clear vision, it’s definitely better than before surgery but still waiting on seeing some improvement. I too have to start work from Monday and I have difficulty seeing my computer screen. Dryness is rare now but I continue to use drops daily.even if there’s no dryness. How did you cope with your desk job any tips or suggestions?

Mine my TransPRK Only Right Eye Surgery is August 10, 2022 after 1 week The Bondage contact Lens removed and my vision is blurry after a day It goes Double Vision in a Week today is August 27 My vision is better no double Vision i can see but not as clearly I Mean "Sharp", my left eye which is good And Sharp but so far so good Maybe a Month my eye Is near perfect vision or maybe perfectly complete... i forgot sometimes to Put an Artificial tears, but artificial tears must be used regularly after The TransPRK Surgery and Removing bondage contact lens for 2weeks and use mostly artificial tears "Lubricants" Like Dextran, Hyabak depends on what ARTIFICIAL TEARS That the DOCTORS RECOMMEND... 1-3months Or 1-6 months Recovery for the Epithelial Cells of the cornea when it is fully recovered your vision is Clear... almost (90-97)% my vision is perfect within 2 weeks..

When did your vision sharpen? I'm close to 3 months but my eyesight has improved, good enough to drive but not crisp.

I had done my prk 6 week (1.5month) ago. I have clear vision in right eye but lil blurry in left one. But when I used both eyes, I can read everything fine and clear. Vision is gradually improving day by day. I asked to my Dr about left eye. She replied that our left hand writing is not that much good as right one and vise versa. Same way some time our one eye are weak compare to another. So, it may happen. If you can read and able to see object clearly then don't compare. Everything will be fine, trust your Doctor.
