One of my favorite things while visiting Japan were the tree branch supports, like a beautiful crutch to support limbs. Just beautiful tree work in the gardens there

Must say that I really enjoy your videos and find them extremely educational. Two suggestions: First, It would be nice to have a general idea of the spatial measurements for the different project sites. Second, For the planting selections - it would be universally helpful to also list the Latin binomial nomenclature (Genus species) for them.

Perfect contrast, the irregular shape of the path surrounding the ash tree and the walls of the Courtyard. Was that gypsum they added to the planting mix?

That's right! It's the same soil. To this soil, we add humus and other improvement materials.

Wow that is a beautiful and creative walkway. May i ask, is that concrete or mortar mix? I am a landscaper and would like to make a similar walkway at my home, how did u get the color mix to look like sand? Thank you in advance

When planting the tree...What was the white granular product used to amend the soil? In America, we have Perlite often used in greenhouse soil blends. Is this similar to what you used? As a landscaper, I may have to start using this in poor soil condition sights.

That's right. That white powder is perlite.

It's just cement, soil, and gravel. The rest is delay material sprayed on the surface.
