I've played VR shooters for years and I'm just realizing that even though I use a physical stock, I need to throw virtual stock on so my off hand isn't fucking my aim. Cheers, homie.

I was going to remake my aim guide, but now I'm just going to send people here. This is such a great resource for new players.

That Nat1x technique reminds me a lot of the rifle throwing drill we use for clearing corners. You bring the rifle into you, and as you turn the corner you essentially push it forward, instead of flipping up.

Very nice tips mate. I was big on onward but I Had no idea about these tips existed. Also the virtual stock is game changer. Can't wait for some Vail tonight.

I found that i can stack my index controllers on the back of my palm and it works so well i feel so much more steady and consistent.

Great video, learned a lot. You know more about VAIL's VStock than me lol When I tuned VStock 1 I assumed the gun coming in and out of VStock was a feature so I kept it. I'll need to test if it feels the same if I remove that.

I didn’t know vstock worked like that! As a professional player I found this super helpful because I’m always curious about other players’ techniques! Kind of funny how I aim the exact same way as nat1x and yet there’s such a big skill gap between us, but our brains somehow had the same logic in which we both knew flicking one hand is faster than two. What's your opinion on the PSVR2 controllers? I'm left eye right hand dominant hand i also used the technique you showed in this video pressing my right hand against my left elbow. I'm getting the PSVR2 but wondering if the ring will get in the way of this technique

Any information if this’ll be coming to quest? Would definitely buy, and also completely off topic, I’ve wanted to do stacking and v stock on pavlov but it just doesn’t work well, should I should give up on the stack or find a new way?

I'm new to vr, and I have the reverb g2. I notice those controllers are strapped to ur hand and it looks like game like this would be much more comfortable to play with. What is ur setup ?

im kinda struggling with pavlov aim, but i really have no idea where to position arms and controllers and tips to make my hands steady, it would be nice if you kinda remade a pavlov tutorial that goes more into aiming but if you could give a quick tip, it would help a lot.

Yo I was curious again about Pavlov, mainly that some of the best players hold there hands far from their body and their hands close together such as yourself, does holding your hands like your actually holding a gun or holding your hands far away have an advantage in Pavlov, Or is a personal preference thing? I’ve seen some really insane players hold their hands like they actually had a gun or their sight is close to their eye and people such as yourself with their hand close together and far away from your face

It's surprising how much of my airsoft aim translates over to VR FPS games, just getting into it but my irl skill transferring is a weird feeling.

About putting your hand on your arm (I put mine on my left elbow), if you want to aim with your right eye, straighten your arm and push your shoulder right and your head left. Super stable, even with no vstock (i know this because I hate Onward's vstock)

NO vr shooter should ever be allowed to release with out Gun stock calibration in the game. i dont understand why Developers would focus on so many things in a vr shooter and not the gunstock wich is the core control of the game. its like if car manufactures were making cars without aligning the freaking wheels from the factory .

Have had this game for months now and have played here and there but did not try the virtual stock out until this past Saturday and it made a HUGE difference. At first I didn't like it as it made me to change my style of play but after a few rounds there is no going back to not using those. Your description of each one blew my mind as I knew they were different, but I really didn't understand how. I'm excited to try out that "flick" technique as I could see that being a great strategy if you can get that down. Thanks for the info! This game is easily one of the most enjoyable VR games out there and definitely my favorite PvP game. I hope the launch goes as well as it should. The community in Vail VR is top notch as well. Lots of good teams and players, and not just talent wise but just being helpful and kind too.
