Spector is making a 5 string bass for Ale right now. The Warning just signed a 5 record deal with Lava records(-Greta Van Fleet and Lorde are some of the label’s artists), a division of Republic records (-Taylor Swift and ZZ Top). The Warning also just played a big virtual festival with acts like Slash, Ringo Starr, and Lzzy Hale of Halestorm. Lzzy Hale was in the chat room during The Warning’s performance and said she wanted them to tour together, and later on her Twitter page she again said how impressed she was and that they have to tour together. All of this stuff happened just this past week.

Ale is having a 5-string Spector made; currently has a loaner of the same model and it sounds most excellent. Had you heard the Ladies have signed with Lava/Republic Records? Ale, 15 is the bass played. Pau, 18, is the drummer. Dany, 20, is the guitar player.

There are many things to enjoy, and admire about this band. Right up near the top of the list, for me at least, is the joy they have when they perform. You can tell they are having the time of their lives.

This song shouldn't have been called like this. But it was one of the most difficult song to write. And, everytime somebody asked them : what about your song, they just answered : "Ugh..."

This song is very awesome!! The title is because they had a very tuff time making this song, so that's why they named it ugh.

*Ale* ( _14 on this video_ ) play the bass and you noticed it was not the same Spector she used in the first song on this gig. On recent videos, she has been using a 5 string Spector ( _a loaner from a fan_ ) and within a month she will most likely be playing her own custom-built 5-string Spector. Hey DeLuca, a little background on Ale (Aleh) and her bass. Ale is now 15 and has been playing since she was 8 and playing piano since she was 3. She and Dany are sponsored by Orange amps. She started playing bass on a Fender Mustang and Bronco. 2 years ago a very generous fan donated 2 Spector basses, the white Euro IV (with blue LEDs on the top of the fret board) and a Rachel Bolan Euro IV signature bass (with red LEDs on the top of the fret board). Both basses were later customized with new pre-amps and pick-ups. She donated her white Euro IV to their most recent Kickstarter campaign. Spector has made Ale a featured bassist on their site (the youngest ever) and are now in the process of building her a custom 5 string. She also uses a Line6 Helix pedal board that is interfaced with Ableton Live that the rest of the band uses for backing, click and video tracks. Ale is a very gifted musician that can compose very nice bass lines that really tie the drums and guitar together and still have a unique sound and rhythm for the band. The Warning has been recently signed to Lava Records for a 5 album contract.

I really like your reactions to the girls. This concert I have watched a few times because it definitely has my favorite bass sound and mix of all of their shows and I always end up watching more of it than I meant to. The bass line was at first a guitar riff Dany brought to the band. As the ladies worked it into a song they transferred it to the opening bass nites.

If you haven't already heard them, check out Alien Weaponry. They're an up-and-coming guy band. Two brothers and a friend. They're from New Zealand. Much like the Warning they started at a very young age and are a incredibly talented. They also sing some songs in the Maori language. Really good stuff. The ladies are indeed taking over. The guys just seem to be in a lull. It's OK though. They'll come back around. I liken it to the wife painfully watching the husband cooking something on the stove and, when she just can't take watching him fumble around anymore, she says, "Gimme that," as she grabs the spatula, pushes him out of the way, and turns what was going to be a disaster into something delicious. Corny? Maybe, but you get my meaning. I think too many of the "guy" bands are hung up on techno-wizard-shredtastic, I can play better than anybody, and have lost sight of what makes a classic rock and roll song. She didn’t had just that Spector Bass, It was the second one she got, she got a dark grey with sparkles and recently Spector made a 5 string for her, now they recorded their third album, and the first one with Lava Records. Funny thing, she isn’t even legally considered an adult, not even here in Mexico (here you’re legally adult at 18), but she’s already recognized as a great world class bass player…. In fact all of the 3 Villarreal sisters are, each one at their own main instrument, since they play several instruments (Alejandra plays bass, keyboards and saxophone), and of course all of them sing, although Alejandra is the one that usually don’t take the main voice, since she actually has said that she feels uncomfortable, ‘cause she doesn’t like to brag too many attention to her! 😅
