I believe it takes 15 hours on average to get a Ber rune from LK assuming you are opening 6 chests (2 fire camps) in about 20 second runs nonstop...and this is your best chance for Ber in the game lol. odds ain't great

she can drop up to Lo, BUT its not in the 'guaranteed' drop table which can drop up to Ist

She drops up to IST as an Countess, and up to LO as an SuperUnique monster in Act 1 Hell, i think.

Friend got Ohm rune from Countess yesterday.

You got luckier than you know, she dropped it as a super unique boss, it’s not part of her “guaranteed” runes list.

I think they are very close but P3 may give slightly better chance at Ber runes, however P7/P8 give even better chances for lots of other higher runes so I like running that

Somebody already answer this in another comment. Hold alt before popping chest and in that split second u can see if runes dropped or not. I also use this way to make sure no rune missed. Hope that help.

Weapon and armor racks in later versions of LoD are semi-stable. IF you take the same path over and over they will have a high chance of dropping the same item. IN older versions, like 1.07 (also very popular to play) they are even more stable, so racking the best uniques is quite easy once you have a good map! Some things that reroll racks: 1) minion spawning (hydra, valk, etc.) 2) monster spawning (hence path affected) 3) popping other racks So a good map for rack-running would have a bunch of racks in a mostly linear or circular path that can be traveled a few different ways to pop them in a different order, and with a healthy mix of testing with hydra.

8,7, and 3 have higher chances for BER runes. 4/5/6 will have lower chances but should have higher chances for like...LO rune I think? can't remember exactly.

Even in legacy you couldn't /players online, If you make an offline character you can't transfer goods. This is an offline holy grail character meaning getting every item in the game with perfect stats. You can do this online and the results will be the same just lacking in the drop rates unless you can have some friends afk in your game which will ofcourse increase the loot you receive.

you won't be able to farm it exactly like this, but you can still run lower kurast as part of a rotation. Just gotta look for the fire camps so it takes a tiny bit more time on bnet

AFAIK, it's only the players x setting (or actual amount of players) that counts. Players 1 will negatively affect the number of item drops from the chest -> less runes. Supposedly, /players settings of 3 & 4 have the best chances for high rune drop patterns.

I'm not sure. Part of why LK is so good in SP is because you can just reroll for a good map and then do blisteringly fast runs. In multiplayer, you'd have to reexplore the map every time, and most of the maps would only have one of the "two rune huts" patterns anyways. That being said, I don't know, LK is so great that maybe even despite these issues in multiplayer, it might still be faster than some the multiplayer alternatives. But it's going to be far slower and I think that Countess will beat it for lower HRs (Ist-Gul-Vex or so, taking cubing into account) and Travincal or Chaos might beat it for the higher-up HRs.

In singleplayer you can simulate a multiplayer game by typing "/playersX" - X being a digit from 1-8. The game will then calculate drops, monster health etc. like if there were multiple players in the game, even though you will be still on your own.

ah ok. I do it and just look at my keyboard if I fear I'll hit something wrong. Once you click "single player" it's not like you have to look at anything else for a few seconds anyway. Also, in older versions you don't have the option of hitting 'H' for hell so it saves a lot of timing repositioning the mouse into the center of the screen while hitting enter

On B.Net, the map layout for LK will change for every run you do. It still "works", but you will take much longer looking for the chests and memorizing ALL the possible layouts for LK.

the point of the LK run is open everything not only superchests. Other chests skeletons logs have the same rune dropchance and yes assasin is the best. As i wrote in last MF tournament i have 3 HR from Superchests and 13HR + tons of Semi rare runes from other stuff. So my experience is running only superchests is wasting of time in LK.

Here to correct you. your information applies pre-1.13 ;) /p7 is now the best. For 1.07-1.08, it is unknown what settings are best (but can't be changed in single player anyway) and in 1.09 it is also unknown.

*Plu Ke*, the Countess just isn't worth it for high runes, even if you cube up everything she drops. And you need to factor in the time to farm for the gems to do the cubing as well.

due the time u play u find the gems u need for every rune to convert to a higher one :) for new ladder season for example its a good way to get ur own runes u want for rw's.. or selling. just saying tough :)

And even if you get gem drops while farming on Hell, they'll mostly be either flawless or 'regular', while you need chipped and flawed gems for runes from Amn to Um, meaning you have to farm for those sooner or later. And really, cuging up to the really high runes from Countess drops is just unfeasible. Basic math - the amounts of lower runes and gems needed quickly become astronomical. Now bnet is a totally different thing, of course.
