Dude I’m on a weight loss journey. 297.6 in Dec, 240.3 this morning. You and randy keep me sane. I watch you eat which somehow calms my cravings and I pay attention to how good you look, physically (no homo) and it motivates me to get there. Joel next time you're in Central FL, Orlando area, there's a spot called The Catfish Place in St. Cloud, FL. They offer all you can eat for $15. It's the best fried catfish I've ever had

I was able to see the food so well that I didn't realise you weren't using your usual camera set-up. The video was crystal clear, no focusing issues, and the food looked amazing. That turkey was prime!

Fried green tomatoes are one of my favorites. It is hard to find good ones in average restaurants, as usually the cut them too thin.

When I was there, some people would cook beef tips in a white or brown gravy and serve them with rice. It tasted a lot better than it sounded. I learned a lot of different foods over there.

Louisiana Hot Sauce is my go-to table hot sauce in Mississippi. It's so good on greens and fried catfish/foods on buffets. Sweet potatoe casserole is one of my favorite foods when it's done sweet and marshmellows on top.

i wish i could eat fish but became intolerant to all fish 28 years ago, but the funny thing about it is i am a commercial fisherman in the Irish sea . Off the north west coast of great Britain. loads of fresh fish but not for me anymore, love watching you eating as its always done with passion and perfection, keep healthy ,

Wow, I thought I had it bad!!! I feel even worse for you! I started getting allergic reactions to eggs at around 34 yrs old. Yea, I press my luck at least once a month lol, because I LOVE eggs. I would not be able to NOT eat fish or shellfish.

Also If you're ever in the area again, stop in Evergreen, AL at the Conecuh Sausage gift shop for the conecuh sausage bar. It's a locally made sausage and it's a huge southern favorite. So good. Just a little hometown brag for me.

I'm in upstate NY and we can pretty much find catfish in our grocery stores year round. I agree with you, it's very good. I make a homemade cucumber tartar sauce to go with it and it's bomb.

I have a wierd habit when it comes to fish. If there is coleslaw, especially the mince kind i use it as a dip inplace of tartar sauce. Using the fish to scoop it up. Works really well.

Sir, since you like catfish, l highly recommended blue gill and crappie. Crappie is pronounced croppy. It is more mild and sweeter that catfish. Definately fine eating!

A good fried green tomato should be slightly tar a slightly firm...t with the slightest deep fried batter.. Hot with a splash of salt! Don't give up on it.. Try it hot and fresh from a local spot that is not a buffet? So glad to see you enjoying the south!!🇺🇸 Stay strong up there!❤

it appears that they cut the tough center part out of the fried green tomato, as when you slice closer to the stem end, they have this very hard texture vs lower down on it, so its cool that they cut that part out. looks good, all of it so far.
