That kid is legitimately good. Having Tiger as a dad and coach is an added bonus. On top of that, Charlie would never have to worry about traveling money, hotel cost, entry fee, and any expenses that comes with golf. Major cost in struggling professional golfers are money.

Having Tiger as a teacher is key. He won't learn any bad habits. I had a boss who was a -1 handicap. He said he took up golf after college. 3 months into it, he was a 12 handicap. He said he had a really good teacher, so he never adopted any bad habits. The only thing tougher than learning how to strike the ball correctly is unlearning the wrong way to do it.

Just watching Charlie's golf swing it's frankly astonishing how good it is at such a young age. He looks like a miniature pro golfer. Just for him to have a swing that technically sound and powerful and the fact that he's Tiger's kid is pretty amazing. It really is an excellent swing that if you put up side by side with some of the best swings in the game any instructor would tell you that it's legit. How far in golf he will go is yet to be determined but he has the swing already that could get him on tour.

I must admit. Tiger not only got me into Golf, but made me start teaching it (for 17 years). Tiger made Golf fun. I made a ton of money, trained a ton of Golfers and had a great time doing it. John Daly's son has game, too. They beat Tiger and Charlie once. I cannot wait to see them on the tour very soon. Charlie players and reacts like his dad, which is funny to see. All of these Pro;s kids got game. Good for them. Great video,

Rightfully so, Charlie will have every advantage possible. He's used to being wealthy, he's used to travelling, he's used to the limelight and seen the level of attention that surrounds his Dad and family, he's had all the highest level golf instruction one could get at such a young age and he has the love and encouragement of his Dad - pretty damn important that is right there. I think the largest hurdle for Charlie will be how his personality and brand will play out... If he acts out, is a little snotty, snooty or disrespectful he will quickly receive the ire of millions, calling him a rich elitist brat.... I hope this does NOT happen. I hope he navigates a path to a grateful golfer who makes the tour on his own merits and provides a great life for him and his eventual family.

It'll be about how much he wants to be his own person and not have to live in dads shadow forever, which he shouldn't because he's putting in the work. He also has a leg up with his dad to help with the brutality of the mental aspect, obviously tiger has so much insight and experience in the mental game. I hope he does well. His name is Charlie. I liked the pure honesty of Charlie Woods. In one interview after the latest Pro-Am Family Tournament. Charlie whipped out the best comment I've heard in years. "boy Dad, did are putting suck". Tiger burst out with a smile and laugh worthy of any great Dad. Yes, out of mouths of babes comes pieces of gold. Charlie had that zinger and it cut through the ice of the interview and the moment even better. - be honest and open- yes, you can have great strokes on the fairways, but dang Dad. I sucked at the putting.

These older golfers are afraid of Charlie's footsteps behind them . He's stalking them like a Tiger and they can't do anything about it!

Look at Jack Nickalus. He had at least two sons that tried their shot in golf. They did manage a spark or two,but not even close in Dad's world. .

Let them enjoy being together, Tiger had the same relationship with his father. If there are those are critical of the young man, hope he makes them eat their words in the future

Charlie Woods is good. His father, Tiger, is one of the all time greats in Golf. His father has over $1B in net worth. Charlie can literally do almost anything he wants to when he wants to. Who wouldn't feel entitled being Charlie? He is entitled. What is wrong with him thinking he is?

He’s a kid, most kids act spoiled and cocky, ESPECIALLY if they can back it up. You cant expect him to act like an adult, when he’s never been one. The skill is real though

I think Charlie could be very good. I don’t know too many 12 year olds that can hit a 3 wood off the fairway 235 and make the putt for eagle.Special 1000%

It is very preemptive to say no one will....Just like in tennis when people say no one will overtake Pete Sampras 14 majors. Soon came Roger, then Nadal and now Djokovic..."no one will", is never the right answer..

If he turns out to be good I say big deal. He grew up with a course in his back yard, a father who might be the best ever, unlimited money for swing coaches. It would be more of a surprise if he doesn’t turn out to be really good.

I doubt that he can hold a candle to his dad even though he is a very talented young golfer. Regression toward the mean is a dominant theme of the universe. Tiger is one of the greatest, if not THE greatest, golfers of all time. So having a son who can surpass his golf exploits isn't very likely. Still, I'd love to see Charlie become a PGA golf professional, so I wish him the best. The kid has a winning attitude.

Imagine as a kid your dad becomes the best golfer of all time, you have access to the best coaches, custom made premium golf equipment and clothing, the best practice facilities money can buy, you live in a mansion with indoor simulators and practice equipment, your own private gym, the best diet and food, you mix with the best athletes on the planet weekly and your given coaching and advice by them as well as your dad and his friends, plus you were surrounded and enabled to do all of this from maybe 3 years old? There is a fair chance you may turn out to show some talent at a young age??? NONE OF THIS IS HIS FAULT if he makes it as a professional or not? Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player , Nick Faldo all have sons who couldn’t get near what there dad achieved, there are kids the same age as Charlie Woods who are as good if not better using old 2nd hand clubs, scuffed balls playing crap courses in the rain eating cold cut sandwiches and walking home after there game….. leave the kid alone , 10 years from now he may be a 3 handicap just enjoying a game with his legend dad? Nothing comes easy even if you’ve had every advantage in life, health, luck, and talent are Never permanent or forever!

I hate hearing about nepotism like people don’t hire their friends who are only hired bc they are friends. OF COURSE he’s gonna want what’s best for his son lmfao. Plus it’s obviously Charlie is a beast already. We don’t need professionals to tell us this

My concern would be for the young guys body. If hes swinging that hard and mashing the ball at that young of an age what happens 10 years down the road??? 15 years? Im hoping it works out without to much injury.
