Grass in Gunner veiw is off, other than that, Graphics cranked to the absolute maximum. To me a very important part of WT is how good the game looks. A friend who started WT after playing WoT for 10 years, said, that one huge reason he even tried WT was because it is so detailed.

I think keeping the dust particles after shooting is a very good advantage, sometimes you don't know where they are shooting at you from and that's a good way to tell.

Really the ”pro player” settings not the ”enjoyer” settings that i was looking for but you showed me how to control all the graphics that i would of never noticed

As a sim player, I recommend having heathaze turned on. It makes you able to spot planes flying low because of the heat destortion up to 35km away (and incoming missles).

For post fx I recommend turning on color correction to film. It makes it slightly brighter on top of everything else that becomes bright

Honestly I just turn off the grass in gunner view. Call it what you want but it’s essential for long range sniping while hill down or at an angle.

Texture quality normally only affects the memory of the graphics card. If the memory is too small, either the textures will load too slowly or the FPS will drop, but this is less common in games

This is a good overview and guide, makes sense how sometimes I wonder how enemies can see me from bullshit distances or angles. Personally I only use grass off in gunner sight as I like the game to look nice than kills but don't want a massive disadvantage (grass should be forced on powerful systems tbh or like in ARMA where regardless of system it acts as concealment depending on distance). Its kind of a shame that gaijin lets this type of edge slip but it serves them right for poor quality control.

I wish there were a "Are you getting old and losing your vision for tiny details?" setting.

Heat Haze is important, i keep it on because I often see the enemy Heli/plane heat haze before I see their outline.

I had this issue when i switched from my laptop to my PC i couldn't see shit bc of how dark the settings were and it ruined my expeirence but now i feel with this i can get back to the game knowing it will look nicer and perform nicer

Even if you change the graphics/sounds, you’ll still get boned if you’re tactically unsound. Played the game since 2012, you’ll get used to typical enemy tactics/positions that even running on max settings isn’t a problem.

Use Stereo if you want to perform better. It makes sound directional which helps you hear exact movements of tanks through walls.

I found this very helpful as of times I didn't know what did what and would set everything to the max perhaps there's more stuff you could find in the game to help others with and make a video

1:19 One tip about SSAA, do not use it if you don't have a very beefy computer, SSAA is much better optimized for screenshots through the replay, or just lower graphics intensive things. It is NOT optimized very well for gameplay but is useable with a good PC, just keep that in mind

I had a lot of FPS drop issues recently despite my hardware being pretty decent, tried to adjust all my settings to find a way to resolve it but nothing helped. In the end I removed my graphics drivers - the full NVIDIA suite of drivers and tools and after that everything worked like a charm again. As always, driver updates are the worst problems

Here's a little tip. If you're system can't run 4x super sampling you can enable 2x super sampling by editing Background Scale in the config file to 1.2 from 1.0 and setting the file to read only

You dont need a sounf card or sorround headphones to use 5.1 or 7.1, you put them on and then go to windows settings and select "windows sonic for headphones" and there you go 3D sound for any headphone

I just play at max graphics with the only one being to remove grass on gunner sight, that is basically essential, and I still preform pretty well if you ask me. if you really wanna be a pro, learn to listen, is my advice, though I'm probably not a pro lol. Learning to listen to and associating each sound to what they're supposed to be, whether they're your teammate's or enemies, what kind of engine it is (heavy tank and whatnot), and how close they are really helps out reading people stupidly well. situational awareness is key to WT, and I personally feel like lowering the graphics is just a cheap way to gain an advantage, that alone will not teach you how to get better. but if you learn to keep yourself alive, know when to retreat, and read your enemies, you can basically get yourself out of a sticky situation without cheap tricks. I just feel like just listening is overlooked by a lot of people, and also staying alive in the first place, I've seen a lot of people engaging in combat with absolutely no cover nearby expecting something to go in their favor. man, I've been playing this game for too long, even after a half a year break I cannot seem to get away from it lmao

Playing WT for 10 years and in that time I have change settings probably 7 times. Thank you for inside what pro players use. I had same settings for a long time, but now I enjoy Advanced shore. Maybe I got older.

If the enemy player is smart enough to use their surroudings to their advantage, i wont punish them by having low graphics settings, i have everythinfg turned to max, and i enjoy it that way, makes me look harder and pay more attention as well

I've got an RTX 4090 and have old video card support enabled. On 4K and Textures set to max it just pull shy of 70 Watt.

If you turn on old videocard support Playstation 2 starting game sound comes up.

Sadly, turning some graphics options off or low will help with FPS/visibility but personaly i hate it. It looks awfull and its some sort of "cheating" for me.... So i still using maxed out graphics settings for everything. (2560x1440 resolution) And i dont need more FPS cause with RTX 3080Ti i have 150-200+ All the time (On minimal graphics settings u can even get 1000FPS from it)

Essentially ruining how the game looks for a little edge (read cheat) against other players. I am not a competitive player and actually am mentally stable. I don't need to turn off shadows in order to be able to kill other players. I have everything maxed out. It is sad that the game still has these issues unresolved, ever since the Ground forces came out.

Nah guys, if you can play on max graphics without massive lag please do. It's the way the game is mean to be enjoyed, and trust me, I have had some amazing moments with great visuals on max graphics. On the lowest it feels more like a chore of a game

All this will be an extremely marginal improvement overall and I consider messing with rendering cheating. Simply being good at the game is far better than any graphical changes.

Hi! Thanks for this video, great stuff, man! I have a question, please. I am missing Gamma Settings from MAIN PARAMETERS window. There is UI SCALE, there is PostFX Settings but in between there is not Gamma correction buttton. There says - Show hidden notifications. When press that nothing happens... What shall I do? 🙂 EDIT! I found solution online! I was in fullscreen windowed and you need to be in regular FULLSCREEN for Gamma correction to appear! 😃

i've had issues with vehicles and other things turning black. and for whatever reason, it fixes when I look at the sky, but comes back most of the times. I have no idea what setting that might cause it. I have all on max. I found others with the same issue, but no fixes. It might be something with light, but not sure.
