back in hs this was 2006 2007 i used to do something similar to install and run games on school computers. it was a nice little side hustle and i would charge $5 per app and probably made around $250 that way, which wasn't bad considering i was only 14 or 15 at the time

My school's computers were *HEAVILY* restricted; all the files were kept on a server and ANY type of executable file would not be permitted. The right-click menu was also disabled on everything for some reason. One day I realised I can download programs if they're inside a folder inside a zip file. They wouldn't work, obviously, but I *was* able to store them. Shortly afterwards, I discovered that the admins forgot to disable Powershell. I couldn't do much with that information alone, but i knew it was the key to something. I knew there was *surely* a fault in the program blocking system. Some other day, I hovered over a shortcut for a program then I realised they're all installed on the computer's hard drive instead of the server. I then thought, I had to find *some* place on the hard where I could extract the zip files. Did some thinking, and boom. C:/Windows/Temp/. I was then able to extract the programs from the zip files there and run them. Afterwards, I slowly started doing more things. By the end of the year, I was making powershell scripts to copy them automatically, making a folder with shortcuts to the programs, making the desktop show said folder, changing the wallpaper to Beavis & Butt-head, changing the keyboard layout...

I remember one little thing from old days, that was something called kernel editor in windows. You can do every thing with it, overclock the cpu and how fast windows to turn off your computer and many more things, that was fun

If a company or school doesn't restrict the group policies, RIP. People typically use templates that don't restrict the Power Shell, but decent sys admins would lock it down along with any USB slots. Technically, in all probability, if you have physical access to the hardware, there is always a way to access everything on the system. Try this instead, if you can launch a Power Shell, just uninstall the group policy. Remove-GPO -Name "DomainGPO".

just type what you want to run into a .bat file and put a pause at the end to see the result without it auto closing. Unless you wanna actually type stuff after.

If you have a school computer or work computer that is now your property just reinstall the OS, idk why you'd want all that restrictive monitoring stuff on there anyway. Wipe it and start over, much easier.

as a student i did smt like this had some help from reddit lmaooo but pretty much what i did was i replaced the ease of assess thing in the windows login thing with cmd so i would have access to admin cmd and then give my acc admin so i went to do just that i put windows 10 in a usb so i could press F10 so i got cmd and then replaced ease if assess with cmd pretty easy well had some down falls like the bios was lock i got rid of that with a bios pass reset online so that was easy then at the very end i got admin but they has 2fa on the main admin acc on the pc that was the first one i tried and in the end i got caught so wouldnt try that kids lmaooo thats my story

I’m dying to know how to do this on a Lenovo chrome book. I bought this used chrome book off of somebody on Kijiji. Little did I know that I would have so much trouble resetting this Chromebook as I didn’t realize that it was a lot to an administrator and I think it’s a school administrator account. I’ve unlocked countless laptops, desktops phones tablets, Google large ones iCloud factory reset protection windows MacBooks doesn’t matter. This is the first time of all things. Damn Chromebook of course actually has me beat, it won’t let me go into developer options. Any suggestions? Well, here’s the backstory on how it came about this awful device. Frankly I got it for cheap and I buy up used laptops. Generally not chrome books. In fact this is the first Chromebook because I don’t like them. Plus, I can’t believe that they started off so inexpensive as they should be because they’re frankly glorified tablets, in fact, iPad or even a an iPhone 12 pro max let alone 14 when hooked up to a monitor and correctly with a keyboard and mouse connected via Bluetooth will work better than your average Chromebook.

I need some help understand something. I have a cheap yard phone... I use this phone separate from my work phone to keep from losing or destroying it.. There is no sudo command in Windows. The nearest equivalent is "run as administrator." You can do this using the runas command with an administrator trust-level, or by right-clicking the program in the UI and choosing "run as administrator." runas is elevation of a user account in Administrators; sudo is another thing that works as a language that is only suported by linux PS: its like speaking Afrikaans /mandarin..ect to a English speaking person they will say WTF...!! Are you saying. Cant put it in a more clear way.
