I've never seen someone able to harvest from another player's gas building before, love it when I learn something new about things I've had interest in for years.

Pro level 4v4 and one team is (probably) using voice comms while the other team isn't (seeing as to how they type to communicate) That's a big advantage for the team using it

Thanks for casting those ! It's fun to hear about those players we know and love, but during the cast, it would be better to refer to them with their colors (maybe+their race). I keep looking at the map to associate armies with teams using their colors, and their names don't help me do that. I've seen some casters also swap to team colors at key moments in 4v4 and I like it.

I follow Scarlett cuz she's a canuck like me, quite the "Queen of Blades" and enjoi the first game as she was very efficient with just using air strikers while cooping with her mates.

During battles please turn on team colors. Hard to keep track of who is from top and who is from bottom.

I know I'm watching this late, but honestly I'm glad that the 7th match came down to punishing the playstyle for the previous 5 or so games - super slow, grindy, donation-heavy, greed Skytoss. That playstyle needs to be punished in some way, and the early 4 man rush seemed to do it. I can't help but compare the team strategies of AoE to Starcraft. In AoE, you have "pocket" players who are shielded from early aggression who go your greed builds. The "forward" players then build as if the enemy team is going to attack them as early as conceivably possible. The result is a good balance between early aggression and late game strategy. What happened in the 4v4 greed fights often came down to some small decision that collapsed the entire game for all 8 people - I.E., the vikings getting slowed so that the Protoss fleet could wipe them. That decided that game immediately. Which maybe if you like games breaking down that easily is something you appreciate - but I'd like for game wins to be decided based more on macro and team synergy than singular moments. Why would I be watching teams if all that mattered was ultimately a 1 versus 1 interaction?

As i just stopped playing counter strike because i didn't like the community that much:/ but the starcraft community is so mature, and i love the way its grown. And if you play with a team right? Theres no flaming what so ever, and the best part is, there is no one calling you a cheater and you dont have to have good aim to win a game, like you dont even need aim! I hated that in CSGO you had to aim perfect to be a good player, it doesn't matter that you are an master mind and could win over them by strats, your aim always have to be perfect and i really hated that. And the fact that i am in an older community where there are no kids that are 13 or younger, it really keeps me going because then its not like when they loose they type: "BG ez vac"in chat all the time, if theres someone cheating in SC2 it will be SO easy to spot! And i believe that the anti cheat is good enough to do its job:) Thats just what i love about starcraft 2, and i just came back from like 5 years maybe? Idk but i stopped playing because i didn't understand the game back then, and i was too young so i played like minecraft and TF2 etc. But now i have been getting older i really want to spend my time playing this game. PS i love the rank system, its just perfect! In csgo i easily played like a DMG but was in the lower ranks because of i played with kids all the time, and this isn't an excuse because i stopped playing matchmaking so i could play ESEA instead because the ranking system was so fucked up, and i played better when i played against more skilled people. But in this game, theres no complains, no gambling or fucked up ranking systems servers etc, this is just a game with perfection in mind! And i am really gratefull to live in a time where these games still exist, because the evolution of gaming just doesn't seem right from my point of view.

long games can lead to some weird tangents: at an hour and three minutes I'm debating the odds that zerg units taste good with myself...high energy content and rapid/simplified chemical processes usually mean it's tasty but a lot of the stuff in your average zerg unit would be very not-so-good to eat so maybe it would depend heavily on skilled preparation?

Confusing cast. Team south vs team north. Map 1 was Scarlett's team in south position. So that was logical discretion. But then Scarlett's team was in north position on next map. So team scarlet was team north. Very hard to understand who is who with team south and team north after game 1. I'm so confused.
