What’s the difference in prize money between the 250’s-450’s? Would Huntermake more money running second in the 450 class. For a family that’s been broke that could be a factor until they’re ALL set for life.

US riders race 50% more races across multiple disciplines every year. There's a reason the world's best _overall_ riders (i.e. across multiple disciplines) race in the US.

Any one can race either but if you win a Supercross series in the 250 you can defend it the next year but have to go up to 450 supercross the year after trying to defend. So most guys once they point out of supercross 250’s they go 450 MX and SX.

Ferrandis and AP also have Sexton covered. I don't see Hunter or Haiden doing any damage in the 450 class for a few years- they'll probably leave them in the 250 class to rack up some titles first. Deegan needs another year and maybe two before he dominates the 250 class. Some great, great racing for the fans ahead.

Coming top 5 would still be a hell of a lot better than whatever other work he’s gonna do :/ there’s gotta still be massive money for him battling for a few more years

Yeah absolutely. It would be interesting to see what would happen if AMA MADE all riders have to ride showroom stock motorcycles. Is Jett really that good or perhaps Honda spends more money building a machine that is a bit better than the others??? What if Eli were out there in top form???And you know the privateers will never be able to compete. I see rule changes coming soon to even the playing field motorcycle wise. If this trend continues fans will start to lose interest. Gotta have brand wars in racing. Good for the sport and the machines...
