Pro-Palestine campus protests continue

What began last week when students at a New York Ivy League school refused to end their protest against Israel’s war with Hamas has turned into a much larger movement. Students across the nation set up encampments, occupied buildings and ignored demands to leave Tuesday.

@@dpelpalare you aware the Ukraine is losing territory? look at the territory gained in the Donbas and Crimea by Russia. They are having to institute a draft for Ukrainians. The average Ukrainian soldier is 43 yrs old. Russian soldiers outnumber Ukrainians 10 to 1. I urge you to brush up on this. I'm not a fan of the Russian army, but the situation is getting really bad for the Ukraine.

And what has the protest yielded? They are displaying their frustration for the wrong audience. The average American cares more about the tax dollars funding the wars and the industries that stand to gain from this and the protest does nothing to address that. It only irritates the Americans to endure the government foreign affairs a bit longer in order for the government to keep protesters off streets. It's not islamicphobia but streetprotestingphobia.

I'll state this because these news outlets are not saying WHY these students are protesting. Columbia University students are protesting against Columbia, NOT against America. They are protesting because Columbia's currently investing in Israel's defense forces and organizations that are supplying Israel with weaponry. I'd imagine that NYU students are protesting for the same reasons. These protests are not from a place of hatred. Anti-Genocide is NOT Anti-Semitism.

Every time Palestinians try to defend themselves from oppression from Israel, they are met with a tenfold response. And now, it seems that Israel is out to kill all Palestinians, and steal the remaining land. Israel is determined to treat Palestinians unfairly, and I ask you, do they not have the right to defend themselves from oppression? Nutinyahoo is an Israeli Putin. Most people can understand Ukraine's right to defend themselves. Who defends Palestine? 😢

why are you guys not reporting what 2 NYPD top police chiefs have said and shocked them what they witnessed yesterday? I think that is a disrespect to those officers and anti-war protesters, and not anti-jew or anti-israel, so lets get that corrected, but I think new york comminunity deserve the facts and news journalism needs to stand by what you learned when you all went to journalisam school and if anything journalists should be even more outraged when journalism itself is being attacked and extorted and even murdered. Once again, we are now seeing how black people are not met with same respect as others in same level. I have to say, those 2 NYPD black chiefs stood up and decided to hold their ground with facts and truth. They clearly said that the aggressors were not the protesters but schools own faculty members who were taking a part of the protest forming human chains and throwing rocks at the police and even tried to throw chairs. Why are you beating around the bush? all you reported was not even 1% of what should be headlines with such a weak statement and say "oh it looks like the problem might not be protesters" you all might as well have not even said anything. If anyone knows racism when they see one are black folks unfortunately. It's quite sad anything that says FOX is now labeled as "that racist media" is that what you all worked for and is this something you would tell your own childrens that this unjustice is ok?

It’s unless you paid $80,000 a semester to be taught some information in a classroom setting and a bunch of terrorist show up and close the place down to support other terrorist. That is taking away the liberties of every other student on campus. You see your tights end where my rights begin.
