What exactly are the criteria for an individual to be considered a 'holocaust survivor.' You see many being referred to as such (often for sympathy value), but in order to be one do you simply have to be a Jewish person born prior to 1945 or is there some other additional requirement? I have said repeatedly that opposing the current government of Israel and it's actions is not anti-Semitic. If the government of Thailand, for example, was behaving in this manner would anybody call those protesting about it anti-Buddhist or if it was the government of Spain, again for example, anti-Catholic? By now, even those who strongly support the concept of a Jewish homeland in view of historical events should by now realize that the actions of the current government of that state are so beyond the pale that it is now time for them to reconsider their continued support for that government. What do you do if your friend starts to misbehave? Do you really continue to unconditionally support them regardless of how bad their behaviour gets?
