I'm from India and I absolutely listen to every word of what you guys have to say. I know both of you are quite busy with the things that you do but whenever you both get together, there is always some or other nugget/s of information to digest that is not easily available on the net. I'm looking forward to your next video. P.S - Could you make a video on getting to be a pilot on A particular type of jet like say the Gulfstream G550

I wonder are there any pilots that are fast track? Guys like Swain Martin seem to have landed widebody slots early in their career. But he’s also kind of a company media spokesperson so I wonder if there’s any favoritism in that situation?
@Dub636

It’s purely seniority. There are pilot unions in place to prevent favoritism. I’ve been told you can get wide bodies out of training at all majors right now if you’re willing to choose a less desirable domicile

Here’s a good way of thinking about part 91 vs 135 vs 121. Part 91: Flying Butler Part 135: Flying Limo Driver Part 121: Flying Bus Driver

I have a random question. I have been really toying with the idea of a career change at 32. So pilots have to be clean shaven? I have a giant beard and I’m not sure if I’m read to part with it just quite yet.

Aren’t those 3 “135” operations you talked about actually part 91 fractional ownership operations?

Hey im 23 and was wondering if you could do a video about these fast track schools like ATP. Im considering going to ATP and had a couple questions like is taking out that big loan worth it if you dont come from money ,and is it worth getting your PPL before you start Atp or should i just do the whole 0-100 plan. Also they seem to require you to become a CFI is there anyway to work around that and is there an better quicker way to build hours. Thanks for your amazing videos

I’m right with you brother. 23, working 40 hours, have my own apartment, car payments, food, etc. and I have no idea what to do. I’m not sure if I should consider moving back in with my parents and starting again or what. I also thinks it’s hard to just quit my job considering I’m 23 living paycheck to paycheck and quitting my job to go full throttle would get me evicted 🤣

Hey, I was 19 when I went to ATP with my PPL. Had to take the loan out myself and pay it myself. This was back in 2017. 21 years old still in flight school debt I got my first job in a Citation V. Three years later, I paid my loan in full & flying a GV soon upgrading to captain at a company which I absolutely love working at and the people there are amazing. It is a perfect time to start ATP in your low 20s. If you plan it right & make sacrifices, 4-5 years you can be in a jet easily making 6 figures. Work a 9-5 like a robot or hustle now to get paid to explore the world and retire a millionaire? Food for thought. PS- this is more to convince you to fly. Any Questions about ATP I’d go to your local school and ask an instructor.
