I like how you guys used the example in the beginning that some pilots become firefighters as their side hustle. I'm a career firefighter looking to change into aviation while doing firefighting part time (if they allow it haha) It was nice to hear that, it really reaffirmed it for me!

Working on my IFR. Currently working full time as line service at my local airport. Have my A&P and am doing freelance maintenance on the side. Also have a startup aircraft detailing company. My wife and I have become very entrepreneurial in the last few years, and watching this podcast makes me certain that being a pilot is the route I was meant to go. I’d love for it to help us get into real estate investing and other ventures. Thanks for all you do, guys! It gives me the motivation to continue on with my training. Hope to see you two in the skies someday.

This podcast is amazing ! Being able to be and entrepreneur and a pilot at the same time is really attractive to me and that is also one of the reason I would consider choosing corporate instead of airlines, just the added flexibility if I can find an appropriate gig like you guys have. Thank you for doing that. Have a good day guys !

Currently living in Los Angles, working on my IFR at sling pilot academy. I think this is the reason corporate flying is the best for me. I get to fly the 0.01% richest people all around the world and build a great network and surround myself with wealthy individuals to one day be wealthy myself and make good money while doing it. Its a win win win situation. Thanks for the podcasts guys!

Likewise! I'm in the LA area, and just registered for ground school, navigation 🧭, and radio this fall semester at Glendale CC. Journey is just starting at 36! I want to get a nice little side hustle flying 🪽. With that said, can one fly part time, gig work, side hustle being a pilot? Maybe pick up shifts every 1.5-2 weeks? 4-6 flights a month?

@Justincruz_officialI have about 20 hours right now, and I’ve been signed off for my solo for over a month, but weather and delays have stalled me out. My current instructor is heading to the airlines, and there’s no direct replacement for him. I’m looking at other schools to finish, or possibly going right to ATP this spring. I’d just hate to waste the instruction time I already have since ATP would basically be starting me over.

Just purchased the propilot playbook and I'm loving it, quick question gentleman. My local flight school doesn't have the instructors nor the time to be able to provide accelerated training. What do you guys think have an intensive two to three-week Private pilot training?
@ProPilotPlaybook
@ProPilotPlaybook Жыл бұрын
Well you may have to travel to an accelerated training school, or just look at the aircraft/instructor schedule at your school and take over every slot starting a month from now (or when it's open) for 3 weeks straight. Sean

If you put a group of pilots in a room, what do they talk about? so f'ing funny. That is me to a T, I have done all of that stuff and still do, build my own motorcycles, review exotic cars on YT, do Real Estate as a broker, been a Mortgage Broker, fly planes, Worked in Management with Boeing on the 787/777, and now hoping to SIC for 91 clients. Love the pilot life!!!! over 30 years now and going strong.

35 years in real estate (30+ valuations with national experience) and a passion for aviation. Wanted to get license then Covid hit. Would like to do aircraft appraisals (*did some when I was a California probate referee). Sadly, the one thing I am missing is my college degree. Life happened and never finished college. Now not sure if I'll ever become an aircraft appraiser or learn to fly.

First off, you guys create an incredible podcast. My question is how far back commercial pilot schools check your medical records. Are there conditions that they will deny you after a period of time or will they decide based on the current condition of an aspiring pilot?
@ProPilotPlaybook
@ProPilotPlaybook Жыл бұрын
We have a medical video you could check out. Also we cover this in our course, but the best thing for you to do is go get a medical they only cost around hundred dollars and you will know the answer for your particular case. Thanks for the comment.
