Well you evolved to Blastoise at 6:24, 95% of the blastoise players I see on ladder are running around as Wartortle at 3 minutes.

I genuinely am so happy to see a rapid spin blastoise upload. Now people will try to run it in rank for 1-2 days and I can farm them with Super power Smack down Buzzwole.

Yeah, I noticed the increase in Buzzwoles. I'm a Blastoise Main, the counter to Buzz as Blast is the Surf Pump, it is annoying to Buzzwole especially since Surf can even pry Buzzwole off of teammates if he grabs them. Had 3 matches in a row with Buzz bet they didn't expect me to run Surf/Pump.

Since my first day playing Blastoise, will always stick with Surf and Hydro Pump. Still remember when Rapid Spout was everywhere and I was the 1 person doing the other build.

I don't think it's any broken, but spinning is a great Sableye, CC and squishies counter (it falls off against Buzzwole, Tsar, Slowbro and Ttar tho)

Ah, another Spout/Spin campaign. Even at this moveset's strongest it never worked out all that well for me. Always been more successful with Hydro/Spin because of the CC and secure it provides, especially with the Hydro Pump buffs and Scarf item addition.

This build must have good WR and all but... Level 5's Water Spout feels like serious ass tho lol. Too bad is instrumental for the combo with Rapid spin, since Hydro Pump is way better otherwise imo.

timi should further nerf the spout spin and buff the hydro surf build, spout spin vialoting the traditional defender build is not allowed

I get it. It's good. But I feel like it's the same difference as spirit shackle and razor leaf on deci. I feel like the stuns of a surf tank are so much more useful in soloq. It also does a decent amount of damage and gives you a good secure with hydro pump.

I Prefer Surf And Hydro Pump To Get In And Out Of Fights, But I Also Enjoy The Rapid Spin Water spout (btw according to unite.API the highest win rate defender is greedent)

Compared to slowpoke, it's harder for me to stack with squirtle. So I went with BB, focus and red glasses. Then again, I mostly use Blastoise as a supporter, CC after CC 🤣

Its pretty good. You kinda get a mini water spout due to rapid fire scarf but you also get a better burst/secure move with hydro pump. I prefer the classic spout and spin but its definitely a build to consider as well for sure

I don't thinks worth to be honest you do get the stun and push of hydro pump and 1 sec cool down reduction from your boosted basic attacks with rapid fire scarf but it pales in comparison to the other builds

Blasty just carries so well in soloQ when u have 4 other attackers/speedsters all the time. I use buddy barrier instead of focus band though- save the teammate.

@@habibkhan2888 some people use it sense it increases your dmg after uniting which from level 20 it’s increase 21% plus it gives some cdr and recharges your unite a bit faster,Blastoise hits decently hard so he makes use of it. Time to time I use it myself on Blastoise.

in general, is rapid spin or surf better? i havent played blastoise much, but i usually prefer surf for the push… im not sure which is more effective in the long run though

Depends on the Opposing Team comp, if they have lots of grabbing power, Spin could put you in a tough spot since Spinning requires you to dive in, and if they grab you that's that. Shields matter as well, Pokemon like Lucario can get a shield that weakens a strike from Surf/Pump making Rapid Spin more effective, if the opposing team is running a Machamp using Submission he's going to toss you every time. Using Blastoise basically means gauging which combination will be more useful.

i don't get it.. sure you're super tanky and you are hard to CC but what exactly do you do except tanking damage, that seems way too passive and reliant on good teammates, I'm not convinced
