hey i would recommend watching a guy called Salvner he had the previous world record for the original subnactica completed within 34 minutes and what's good about is that he explains everything on what he does and how he does it.

Basically the snowball trick is a way to create remote storage. Him doing that let’s him open the locker without opening it and when he opens his inventory the game thinks he’s still opening the locker allowing him to dump the materials and die to respawn. This also works in the first game but not entirely sure how

so the diving thing works like item move towards prop cannon but the player is in the way, so the player gets moved along with it but the player is holding the prop cannon, so the prop cannon also gets moved down and repeat
