Noel is one of the greatest musicians of our time. He is more of a Beatles-mind. Weller is brilliant too. Both are legends. Brit-Rock-Gods. But Albarn ... he is one of us. And his voice maybe not that potent in terms of pro. singing. But he has something unique. You cannot learn this. It always chills everybody down. And he was never aiming for the stadions. He is one of the most innovative artists of all time. One of my favourites.

Damon's the better songwriter, no doubt in my mind. Or he didn't flame out as quickly as Noel, maybe that's it. The first two Oasis albums have some amazing, classic songs. But since then there's been, well, nothing. Nothing great anyway. Whereas Damon's been putting out fascinating, weird, catchy stuff for the last two decades, not just in Blur but in Gorillaz and his other side projects.

Too true. I grew up on Oasis but truth be told: Albarn is a true artist, while Noel writes songs because he enjoys being a millionaire rockstar. In an interview a few years back (around the time of Beady Eye I think), Liam alerted the interviewer to the fact that "the lads" (i.e. Blur) were playing on the radio and claimed to like Damon Albarn. Both brothers get on fine with Mr A but alas, not with each other.

I absolutely love this because I’m a massive oasis fan who grew to love blur after seeing them at reading 99 But what i love the most Liam is outselling all of them
