Great tips!! Almost all the acting jobs I get are because of people I’ve met and made friends with. Networking is key, AKA “friend-making”! 🥰

Thank you Nikki! You’re my first comment by the way! And yes networking goes a long way.. getting the job isn’t always on predicated on “talent” alone! Def key 🔑 ❤️ Share this with a friend if you don’t mind!!! More videos coming soon 😊

tip number two I had to learn the hard way, definitely think my bad makeup effected my screen time on a couple of sets. This is great advice !

Sorry that you had to learn it the hard way.. so did I lol 😂 but best at least we know BETTER now! Although I still feel like in a 2022 world productions and sets should be better acclimated with all skin types 🤦🏾‍♀️ Thank you for supporting ❤️

Great Tips!!!! How would you suggest we tell makeup/hair that we do not like our makeup or hair on set? Ive been on a set where the makeup artist tried to tell me what type of lipstick my character would wear. I definitely fixed it after she was done. lol

Good question!!! So I’d probably feel it out because not everyone would appreciate a critique but try and point an obvious flaw that you don’t think looks right and how it would cause you to feel less than your best. Hopefully they’re willing to work with you BUT IF NOT.. like you did fix it yourself! I’d def done that after I left a hair/mua trailer and they just didn’t get what I was saying or were incapable I did it myself. At the end of the day we work SO HARD to get there so I’m not letting anything ruin an opportunity for me (which relates back to the tip of having your makeup with you just in case lol) If they’re struggling you can also offer to do something since you can get it sone quickly.. “time” is something all crew is concerned with and not running behind so if you offer to save on that they may tend it be agreeable (that’s happened to me with a hair issue on a set as well)

It’s a shame in 2022 ppl don’t have makeup shades for darker skin tones on set 🤦🏿‍♀️
