I think treasure cruise is fine, honestly. It’s incredibly powerful, don’t get be wrong, but the lack of something like fetch lands makes it significantly less of a ubiquitous piece than it otherwise would be. It sees play in essentially just one single archetype (Phoenix) and is probably the main reason why that archetype is as successful as it is. Imo, banning cruise would utterly demolish the viability of Phoenix in the format. Pioneer has a wide slew of incredibly fast and powerful creature strategies with convoke, heroic, and Amalia. Due to modern mtg creature design, these decks also tend to have a huge amount of durability and versatility as well as card advantage of their own while still outputting enormous amounts of pressure. Without the sheer card advantage that cruise provides, I don’t think Phoenix would be able to keep up with any of these as effectively, not to mention standing a chance vs control. If the idea is that you ban cruise and ultimately remove Phoenix as a viable deck from the format, then fair enough if you think that’ll make pioneer healthier overall, but I would personally disagree. If there’s any eternal format where treasure cruise can exist in a fun way, I think it’s going to be pioneer. But this is all my opinion of course! My main decks are izzet phoenix and UW control, so a cruise ban would significantly neuter one of the main decks that drew me to the format in the first place.

I'm curious what deck is good to play into this? Seems like my rank of arena every other deck is this one (which I get cause since won a big tournament and is fun to play).

Playing a deck that aims to win via combat damage into Vein Ripper seems like one of the purest sufferings of mankind's world. Nice double strike deck, take 6. Jeeesus.

Phoenix is subsidised by Treasure Cruise. Vampires is subsidised by Fable. Treasure Cruise is the more broken card and will be the first one to get hit, while Fable is probably never getting to the point of brokenness.

Animating the land did nothing you knew that cause you knew he was holding up removal cause if he wasn't he would have go blanked your hand. You really rely too much on creature lands from what ive seen. You just cram them into decks absolutely destroying your mana base
