Makihito's desk is by far my favourite style of play

Double stike means, your Creature does first strike damage and normal Damage, so it deals 1 times damage Damage before everything without double strike or first strike and a second time as everything else does Damage, aka 2 times as a whole. It also triggers all deal-damage-abilitys twice.

Honestly, I wish they would have more rules when it comes to this stuff. Being able to take the time to write down what cards are in the guy's hand is a bit off to me. It should be as simple as the person having to try to remember. It keeps the game more tactical and allows for moments where players may gain an upper hand simply because their opponent forgot they had a specific card.

@insanecombo2 it's a new land land from the theros set that allows you to scry 1 when it comes into play... When you scry you look at the top card and choose to keep it at the top or move it to the bottom of your library

Okay, what double strike does is your creature does both first strike damage and then normal damage against what ever is being hit. In this case he takes 6 first strike damage, and 6 normal damage, so your friend takes 12.

48:43 big board eh i remember a game i had at Friday night magic i was versing my friend and he used a bubbling cauldron regenerate combo to get 4 life each turn and i was using a simic deck we ended up in a draw but with all the creatures ooze tokens lands and enchantments i filled up my entire side i had a 14/17 crocanura because of forced adaptation and with tablet of the guilds i just keep getting life we finished at 36 me and 77 my friend he had a freaking 14/14 nightmare but crocanura still would kill it best stalemate ever

double strike means you'r creature attacks twice which the first attack is instance speed like first strike. then the follow up damage happens. so if no blocks yes he would take 12 damage and if he had of blocked you angle would of hit first unless his creature had double strike or first strike then normal combat damage takes place with exchange. or in simple slap your friend for cheating.

Are you referring to the French cards and such? It's completely legal in Yugioh to use other language cards from the TCG such as German, French, Italian, Spanish, etc. You can't use OCG cards (asian languages) in Yugioh because of rights conflicts and the fact that the cards are often printed in completely different sets/rarities in the OCG.
