It’s even worse. Remember a couple years ago when EC3 accused of Dream of recording people in the bathroom? Dream said that happened but he was high because he was supplied cocaine by EC3 and everyone was fucking high the entire time. To be honest I think it's more that mostly casuals watch wwe and most of them have no idea aew even exists. The rest are people who wanted aew to be great and are disappointed be the terrible booking and mishandling of every major star they've lucked into. Personally I'm sick of the dishonest take that "aew is doing good and anybody who disagrees is a tribalist hater mark" the product is obviously worse and it's beyond irrelevant to casual viewers. Nia Jax samoan drop onto the table looked impactful, but it really hurt things the way she ultimately broke the table. That splash off the chair onto the table looked the exact opposite of impactful. Jax got zero air-time on that. Was hard not to think to myself, "well i guess that samoan drop did look worse than it actually was if it didnt break the table but this weak ass splash did". Weak.
