@@zakatara dota wasn't made by blizzard. dota was just a map for the game. the only reason valve can't take those sounds is because they don;t own the rights to do so. that's why many hero name changes and items. they are not allowed to use anything related to warcraft because blizzard realised how much money they lost by not supporting icefrog with his map.

Especially I think the scale of the characters is fitting much more now. I think nostalgia got the better of you. I think you do dislike the change to have each character looking vastly unique and much more cartoonish.

not really. IceFrog has no intention on keeping the development of Dota 1 (he has stopped developing Dota 1 since 6.83, that's almost 6+ years ago). The current Dota 1 is currently developed by DracoL1ch, and he said to us that he has no intention on migrating Warcraft 3 Reforged as the current Dota 1 version requires to run on 1.26 (as the memory hacks run only on that Warcraft version, and Reforged is at 1.33+). I'll ask him personally if he has plans for the new version.

The current versions for Dota 1 highly relies on the memory hack, which has been patched since 1.27 cameout, therefore the current versions only works for 1.26. Since the features used in memory hack are not available for newer versions of Warcraft, DracoL1ch does not have any intentions to migrate the Dota 1 to a newer version.

Warcraft 3 Reforged will not require a High End pc :) It will run smooth even on Low End PCs and will have better Graphics and Spell Animations than Dota 2 and when new, reforged Dota gets super trendy, people will indeed buy it, Dota 2 will be murdered :)))
