Probability of Mutually and Non mutually Exclusive Events | Kevin Rick
Mutually Exclusive Events are events that cannot occur at the same time while a Non mutually Exclusive Event (Inclusive Events) are events that can happen at the same time.
In solving the probability of compound events joined with the word "or", you will be adding.
"or" means "plus"

Hmmn. Mutually exclusive. According to the first and second swntence, No jersey is purple and has a number greater than 5 (at the same time). But it is impossible to pick a jersey that is purple or has a number greater than five tho.

I think they declare ecq and gcq based on the risk level of Covid infections in the different provinces. They are non mutually exclusive because they can happen at the same time. They may declare gcq in one province while declaring ecq in the other provinces.

Sa totoo lang, nahihirapan din ako sa written (kung nagsusulat ako ng sentence or paragraph in english). Pero, naging big help sa kin ang pag nood nood ko ng english movies and habang pinapanood ko, ginagaya ko din yung kung paano nila binibigkas ang words/ sentence. Before ako naging high school teacher, nagtraining din ako and nagwork sa ESL school kung saan mas naging confident ako in speaking. Kung may na me-meet akong new words, sine search ko agad sa dictionary (that way, nalalaman ko kung verb, adj., or noun, and then dun may clue ako kung paano ko din gagamitin yung word) Be confident lang bhiiii! If you have doubts, anjan si Merriam-Webster. Fighting!💓

Two cases. P(two red or two queens) = P(2 red) + P(2 queens) - P(2 red queens) = [(26/52)(25/51)] + [(4/52)(3/51)] - [(2/52)(1/51)]

@@macalinokylacharisse4633 for those cases, Walang ma e ma minus since mutually exclusive sila P(KK or JJ) =(4/52)(3/51) + (4/52)(3/51) For the others, palitan mo lang denominator. Kung spade, there are 13, same sa heart...etc.
