buy a warrior 3s then. problem solved. the warrior 3s is more capable a light than the x4. 2300 lumens and 300 meters of throw with multiple modes.

@@nomercyinc6783 I have the warrior 3 s as well……warrior 3 mini, warrior nano, arkfeld with laser and the pro model, 4 perun headlamps, go torch x mountain bike light, javelot mini, seeker 3 pro, marauder mini, baton 4 premium and baton 3 premium,baldr pro r gun light lazer, olantern, and a few more so I’m very familiar with olight…..

Yeah not sure where you heard that but the USB-C port is only used for charging the light, this is to better comply with new EU laws, sorry about your misunderstanding!

I was confusing the power bank feature of the new Baton 4 Premium (charging case) because I bought that one and the Warrior X4 at the same time after watching hours of promotional and instructional videos describing the features of each. As an aside, after reading comments beneath various X4 videos (which is where I learned about this), I can confirm that the Thyrm Switchback DF (Dual Fuel) tactical ring and pocket clip combo accessory that I had installed on my Surefire DFT Fury Tactical 18650-powered flashlight DOES fit perfectly on the Olight Warrior X4 (once the Olight’s tactical grip ring is removed, which is easily done), despite the Olight utilizing the larger diameter 21700 battery in the X4. Additionally, if you disregard the resulting redundancy, the X4 with the Thyrm DF-specific Switchback installed will STILL snap securely into the X4’s factory belt holster with the tactical ring facing outward and the pocket clip facing inward, nesting into the holster’s concave channel where the flashlight is meant to rest while holstered. However, since both the Thyrm Switchback AND the X4’s factory holster each have an integrated belt/pocket clip, using the factory holster becomes redundant and therefore, arguably, unnecessary. I have this light and it doesn't have the tint that this video shows, it just white light. While it is bright and well made, I hate the switch on the back, it's not intuitive at all and unless you press the switch precisely, no telling what mode you'll get, low hi or flash off. I personally can not recommend this light at the price it cost.

Honestly I’d care about that, but I have several olights and have never put them in tactical mode. I never need strobe, ever. My thought is that if it’s a worst case scenario and I’m using it for self defense I’d rather just blind the guy and let me see him then blind both of us with strobe. I thought that was a downside when I bought the warrior 3, but I’ve never used it and never needed to. Just food for thought
