If a foreign migrant worker(pakistanis, bangladeshis, myanmarese) tell you the price, it is 100% mark up. Locals do not mark up so high. So you must be smart to bargain. Anyway it is illegal for foreigners to trade in chinatown.

Welcome to Malaysia. Its really hot weather now in Malaysia. Actually, isn’t not only Malaysia the whole SEA countries is crazy hot weather. If you want a cooler weather you can go to Genting Highland the weather temperature much colder than in KL. Also, theres a casino there and a big theme park. Its nice for chill and look see around. Hope you guys have a wonderful trip here.

The dark soy based noodles (Hokkien mee) you had on Jalan Alor is of Malaysian Chinese orgin. You won't find anywhere else in the world. Its call Hokkien mee is because its from the Hokkien/Fujian Chinese. The Chinese food found in the US is mostly from the Chinese Cantonese sub group

There're the suburb areas of Kuala Lumpur called the Klang Valley that you guys need to explore. There's so much more to explore than just KL city in Malaysia.😂👌

Malaya which is basically Peninsular Malaysia today gained independence from the British on 31st August 1957 and it's an independence fought by 3 main ethnic groups of the country - Malays, Chinese and Indians together on that historic day. Malaysia was formed 16th Sept 1963 by including Sabah, Sarawak and Singapore as well. But, due to political and maybe society issues, Singapore separated 9th August 1965.

I climbed the mengara tower and the Petronas. The Petronas had no entrance fee, that was so kind of Malaysia. My favorite is the KL Bird Park.

Better venture out of the city center to the surrounding area of greater KL such as Bukit Kiara park, hike Bukit gasping, Kemensah area, Templer Park /Kanching Waterfalls, Shah Alam (i-city, agricultural park and skytrex adventure park), Sunway Pyramid/Lagoon, Forest Research Institute of Malaysia (FRIM) and many more... You can also go way out to Kuala Selangor - Sungai Besar area for the rural experience at a homestay, fireflies, a bit of history, fishing village and paddy fields

Great VLOG ; excellent editing and commentary. Many layers to the city , you’ve hit some of the tourist highlights , but there is so much more if you research more or get a knowledgeable local to suggest to you. The satay in Alor looked sub-standard , the best satays are not found there. Cafe and night spots were top choices but there are better ones around KL. Changkat is definitely one of the night spots 👍Pavillion on Jalan Bukit Bintang is the top spot for shopping 🛍️✅ Have fun & safe travels ✅👍🙏

@@ProbablyLost You may want to explore Bangsar cafe stores , Bangsar Heights Cafes & Mont Kiara enclave of cafes ☕️ too ✅👍 Check out Publika shopping 🛍️ and Mid Valley City shopping center , Klang, Cheras & PJ are nearby satellite towns with a whole plethora of famous foodies joints as well ✅ KL Pudu area hosts many local favorites, that only a few foreign bloggers manage to discover. Check out newer shopping spots like BBCC / Lalaport and Sunway shopping center in cheras KL too with top satay in Dzul satay in Jalan peel as a comparison to the one you had on Jalan Alor as a reference to what we locals savor as quality over quantity. Hello, I am graduating nursing school in the spring and I plan on taking a trip to Southeast Asia before I start working. I loved watching your videos as they covered all of the places I've been looking at, however I am only going for 2-3 weeks and I don't know if the my time constraints make it possible. The places I've been looking at are Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Bangkok, Angkor Wat, Siem Reap, Phnom Penh, Krabi, Koh Samui, Penang, Langkawi, and Kuala Lumpur. I was wondering in your opinion what places do you believe I should remove or need to be removed to fit with my time constraints and what places I should absolutely keep?

Hi!!! Oh my gosh you're going to have the best time!! So in my opinion, I definitely would do Chiang Mai, Bangkok, & Koh Samui in Thailand. You'll get a great mix of everything Thailand has to offer with those three (although flying to Koh Samui isn't cheap at all unfortunately, so it may make more sense to visit Krabi or Phuket instead). Angkor Wat is stunning & we absolutely loved Phnom Penh. You could fly into Siem Reap from Bangkok, do an evening tour through Angkor Wat once it's free to enter (after 5:30pm). Then do a tour the following morning before taking the bus down to Phnom Penh. From there you could go down to Kuala Lumpur & work your way through Malaysia! Between Langkawi & Penang, I'd pick Penang only if you've gotten sufficient beach time in Thailand lol. Penang has incredible food & very interesting history. As far as absolute keeps, Chiang Mai, Bangkok, a beach location in Thailand (Phuket, Koh Samui, Krabi, etc), Siem Reap, Phnom Penh, & Kuala Lumpur can all definitely be done in two weeks. You'll just be moving quickly, but man are those locations worth it!! Hopefully this helps you a little bit & thank you so much for watching our videos!!!:)

Hai guys..if both of you enjoy the satay i can recommand you guys go to SAMURI SATAY KAJANG..at kajang town..easy way go there is by MRT SUNGAI BULOH KAJANG LINE..satay kajang is one of the best satay in MALAYSIA. they serve a variety of satay as chicken..beef..mutton..dear...so pls explore kajang town..

It is quite heavy, but it carries our necessities for filming during the day in addition to a water bottle or two during the crazy summer heat! lol I think most vloggers use it because it is a great backpack and also has compartments for carrying our gear.
