Sir ji , Many contractor used salt to lower the heating temperature of heating of bitumen, Salt is lower the heating temperature of bitumen , and soft the bitumen

But it lowers the viscosity and stability of the mix. So it is not beneficial for even contractor as the have DLP responsibility

Today every contractor cheats in bitumen content. In NHAI project projects are being awarded below 30 and more than 30 percent. All the big companies like L&T ,Gammon,HCC etc. are failing to get the project as they try to maintain the quality but new companies get the project compromising with bid value. In this case they cheat to cover up the difference between bid amount .

Grout material is used as per method of statement given in MTC, Most important ,in this grout use water upto 15 to 30 % water , perform only flow test as per British code , After that prepare the cement grout cube , test after 1 day curing , 3 days and 7 days curing
