Their hooves look so healthy, it really shows that they're well taken care of! I've seen some horrible feet of race horses and it baffles me how people can put so much money into racing without taking good care of what can literally make or break a horse. I'm glad to see that these horses are well off on that very important area! Well done!

I have wondered about those metal files. I see so many videos of the files raking back and forth across the nails. If I did that with my jewelers' files I'd have to take out a loan just to keep myself in functional files!🤷‍♀️

It's nice when the farrier takes care of their tools. It makes such a difference...much more enjoyable to watch when he shaves the hoof. Also his cutter doesn't squeak like others and the edges are clipped nicely.

An old cowboy in Wyoming that owned a boot, saddle & tackle shop once told me that anybody that "burns" a shoe on a horse is just a BAD horse shoe-er and not a master Farrier.

I have been on horses at least ten times during my life. I have during that time mastered the HAD method. I strongly advise against mounting anything you can not lift at least one inch off the ground. I no longer practice the Horse Assisted Dismount method.

Bahahaha. This is a good Laugh. I tend Park Overall's horses. I love my work. And, the retired Hollywood starlet just the same. Each day is the same routine with the horses. And something new with the Parkster. Your comment sounds like something she would say.
