Honestly Miss Playing Billiards. I Once Had A Standard Full Slate In My Living Room; Had To Dismantle It After A Flood, But I Still Have The Slate. Intended To Design It Into The Floor As A New Game.

Made a cue by hand with my wood lathe before I had a metal lathe... Honestly, it came out pretty much just as good. It's difficult to get the joints really perfect though....

You still have a lot to learn so that the product can be called a cue! Now you are like a student in the first grade. A cue is a very complex technology, from choosing a tree to gluing and loading a balance! In general, good luck)))

You're right, definitely not quality. I've never seen a "master cue maker" take a full board and rip it down and cut it on the lathe right then. Real masters know if you do that it will probably warp. They have wood blanks pretty cut to 1 inch or less stock and let it sit in climate controlled area for months so that it warps or shrinks or does whatever it's gonna do when it dries BEFORE cutting it on the lathe also parts he used weren't that good and he put zero points or inlays or really anything decorative for that matter. It was just meh..lol

보통 고급 당구큐의 상대는 여러개의 쪽으로 만들어지는거로 아는데, 여기는 그냥 통으로 깍아서 만드네요? 이렇게 하면 고급상대처럼 여러개의 쪽으로 만드는것과 비교해서 장점이 뭐가 있나요? 아니면 그냥 보급형을 만드는 영상인가요?

집성이 아닌 일반 하우스 큐 하대입니다 고급상대라서 여러쪽이 아니고 각각 성능이 틀린거라고 생각하면 됩니다 물론 쪽상대가 조금더 비싸지만 컬리상대는 통상대가 더 비쌉니다

그냥 보급형 입니다. 장인이 정성을 영상에서 볼수 있었지만, 오히려 영상 보고 중국의 자동화로 생산되는 저가큐보다 신뢰가 떨어지네요.

은성은 거의 보급큐죠 디자인이 동호인이 선호할안한 수준이 전혀 아닙니다 보급큐도 한밭등등 요즘 데칼이나 전사로 이쁜게 많이 나와서 명맥만 유지하는 회사가 은성이죠 일부 선수(유명선수는 아님)에게 맞춤형큐는 만들어주긴하나 디자인이 쌍팔년도보다 못해서 영

That cue is going to warp very very quickly. They need to be turned down slowly and gently and allowed to take their new shape. If you turn it down slowly, any warp that's going to come out can be usually corrected simply from the next series of turns but when you gouge it all out in one go, if and when it warps, which it almost certainly will, you can't fix it and it's a piece of firewood.

@@ReubenRosczyk lmao, I've been in the pool industry for over 20 years... there is a reason most low to mid range cues and almost all production cues are warped and it's from this right here, plowing out a product as quickly as possible to get it finished. The cues that don't warp take a minimum of 6 months to a year to build and are used with wood pieces that have been aged and prepared properly, turned down very slowly, and allowed to rest and take it's shape.

I know nothing about cue building but I was thinking the same thing. No way a good cue can be made within a couple days and ready to shoot.

@@ReubenRosczyk You literally have no clue about woodworking. This cue will be crooked within a week, it takes months of taking off a few thousands at a time for the wood to stay true. This is a cheap p.o.s cue

It’s not a good quality cue so maybe these cues are the cheapest of cheap and not meant for longevity.
