As a barber 43 years, I have to say Japanese shears, razors and steel implements are by far the best in the world. I've tried all kinds. The Japanese beat German Solingen steel in the 80's by a mile and never looked back. All my steel tools are Japanese. Thank you. They literally become extensions of my hands.

I am always in awe whenever I watch a good blacksmith. Their products come from their hearts & souls. Steel so good, it can almost shave dust.

I like how calm they are. They are not trying to make as much razors as they can to sell more and more. They are doing it one razor at a time. This just shows how our life style should change.
