With only 9 holes left to decide a world championship, Prodigy's Catrina Allen and Paige Pierce are deadlocked at -10. Only a stroke behind is Valarie Jenkins. Joining them in the Final 9 is Sarah Hokom. They're playing holes 1-2, 11-16, and 18 at Emporia (KS) Country Club on Aug. 13.

It's so easy to root for Valarie...she's a really good sport and has a great smile and attitude. She played great the last 27 holes, driving lights out and putting well. Thanks for the video!

Val earned it! Nice to see a World Champ that is so down to earth and positive. She's a great role model and ambassador for the sport. Love the air bounce style, too (: Can't wait to try your beer when I'm in Bend!

McFly soooooooo high....thanks man. Val was the only one smiling at jones east, I had a hunch she was on a tear. Her family has more world titles than your family will ever have and that was before she married the 3 timer. Powerful win, great coverage.

Spoiler alert** Wow. Major congrats to Val. Just wow. It was so hard to see Cat and Paige struggle so bad in this final nine. The scores promised a very interesting round at the beginning and it sure was, but not at all what I expected. Again, super excited for Val.

Yes she left the team at the start of the year. Dont know about the details but she has been throwing a mixed bag the entire year with some Prodigy (it´s hard to kill your darlings ;) ) and mainly Trilogy. She has not announced a new disc sponsor yet.

+arudolph22 yes she is. But its the first time this year if you look through other clips from Marty. And the fact that she's hasn't been wearing Prodigy labeled clothes or bag the entire year. As I stated before I dont know the issues behind it I can only write you my own observations and statement from her good friend Eric McCabe.
