First rap section was Soyeon followed by Minnie, the second was Shuhua followed by Miyeon. I love that Soyeon is not afraid to push everyone's expectations.

I'm getting that the lyrics are that they don't want to be a traditional wife to a man. "I make you feel so high" (boost up your ego). "I make you feel like lie" (though you're not that great). "But I don't want to wife wife wife wife" (wife as a verb... to be like a trad wife). The cream soup represents the acceptance of being a bland trad wife. It's chocolate crazy flavored to make it more desirable. The bobbed haircuts, cleaning clothes and pearls represent the trad wife uniform. They each have a chain shoelace on one shoe representing "The ball and chain" of marriage. The camera also zooms in on the shoe or shows it stomping them several times when the lyric "wife" comes. The lyrics talk about cooking, cleaning, and submission. Some people interpret the lyrics as sexual but I think they talk about trying to eat and hold down the soup of acceptance of being the trad wife.

@@AmariLeone few reasons but the main reason is that they describe their fandom as a place where their fans never change and can live forever. The group name in Korean is 아이들 (aideul) which means a group of young people or children. So just like in peter pan, Neverland is a place where kids live forever.

What I saw from the lyrics it seems they are making fun of the "trad wife trend" that is going around and that align with how Korean society is very antifeminist is a very ballsie move hahaha But G-Idle tends to do things like this, like queencard, nude (one of my favorites from them), oh my god etc

I'm not the biggest (G)I-DLE fan, but I love this video and song! The beat makes it easy to bob your head to, and the lyrics and rapping are so addictive. Not to mention the dancing!

Soyeon rapped then Minnie then shuhua and the pan Yuqi but soyeon did write produce and direct this she did this once before with my bag which was a fun sing she did for fans by writing raps for her members and helping them through it so this is much like that

Other than the first and last verses, done by Soyeon, the other parts and rap are all the other members. It's a playful and sarcastic commentary on being the "perfect wife". Also, white and green are the chromatic opposites of red and black, their usual color pallette. Watch their "Killing Voice" performance for a good overview of their discography and talents.
