@@ToussainT33 My friend, I just hear the song and the only thing I found similar is the rock style/vibe (which is was SJ is and MX one is more based than actually the style like it is) and that dark vibes that come with..... We are talking about the whole monsta x music universe and as Shoot Out is a whole hip hop experiment. And lbh, no one is doing it as mx in the moment, idk how much other groups experiment before with the mx style but rn, no one is doing it as them.

The theme is (I think) the 7 Deadly Sins. Shownu is Wrath, I.M is Envy, Kihyun is Greed, Hyungwon is Pride, Wonho is Sloth, Jooheon is Gluttony and Minhyuk is Lust. I read some theories this one made more sense: "The MV set when they’re in Purgatory, receiving their punishments for their sins. This is the follow-up after the film, when Changkyun found his leader (Hyungwon), and connects everyone. Hyungwon - Pride - Lucifer He is the first angel to betray Heaven. He’s sitting on the crown but has no one to rule. This is the worst nightmare for s.o love people’s admirations. The necklace is “Appelle Moi”, means “call me” in France. But ofc, there is no one to worship him. Also, for 7 deadly sins, Pride is the only one with a virtuous side. That’s why he has tears in his eyes when he’s holding the gun. He’s regretting. The ending, he dropped his bullets nhis gun, also leave his crown. He doesn't want the power anymore. He wants to be with “them”. I.M - Envy - Leviathan He is the prince of Hell guards the gate bw Asiah (real world) n Inferno (hell). He was lost until Lucifer/HW found him. Also explain why the red door is in the sea, bc Leviathan is a sea monster, has a dog always with him (the dog next to HW’s crown). His punishment was the curse tattooed on him “ :):”: He will never have anything that makes him happy. It’s always there with him. And he's all alone. At the end, he decided to burn his card, aka the Envy. He let go his selfishness. Kihyun - Greed - Mammon The power. He wants it all. His punishment is being trapped in a room with full of mannequin, which symbolized for “fake”. He can have nothing but only the fakeness, the faceless figure. At the end, he decided climb his staircase, share it with them. Minhyuk - Lust - Asmodeus always earning for affection, scared of hurting. His punishment: trapped in a case of thorn (means pain and pleasure) At the end, he gave up his pleasure, grabbed the thorn, let himself feel the pain. He free himself from his own sins. To be with them. Wonho - Sloth - Belphegor Trapped in a small cage, inside the infinity, full of smoke (avoidance). He avoided his fate. (the one who always turn his back) At the end, he became the actual one to rule them. He lead them to the higher. He’s no longer avoid his responsibility. Shownu - Wrath - Behemon Burning his flame with a matchbox named “Wrath”, but that’s all he has. He can’t release his emotion, that’s the worst punishment for him. At the end, he opened his eyes, decided to wake up from his anger. To be with them. Jooheon - Gluttony - Beelzebub In the MV, his punishment is he has to wore the mask so that he couldnt take in anything anymore. He’s also trapped in the cage in the middle of nowhere. (The story didnt mention how Jooheon can be release from his sins). the MV's ended with them in their praying/surrender positions. Which means they gave up their selfishnesses, their own benefit. They have been forgiven for their sins, their fight with darkness and light." cred: mxwonchae P.S. as for the thorns, VIXX used them 2 years ago in Fantasy, but since you don't really enjoy them, I didn't expected you to remember.

These are men, not boys. Not only because some of them are buff. They’ve always exuded a certain type of maturity, not only physically but musically as well. I can only speak for myself and I started to like kpop because it’s different but Monsta X, from the start up to now, is a cut above the rest. The quality of their music and their performances are, I’m almost afraid to say it, superior to other groups I really admire as well. I think Starship did really well in choosing this group and the music they release. Their personalities just adds to the likeability and good for fanservice. And it doesn’t hurt that they are ALL extremely good looking. Curiously, it’s also a group where no one is more popular than the other. It’s very rare and in fact, I don’t know any other successful group whose popularity is almost equal among the members with just maybe a percentage or two of difference. This shows how balanced they are. Anyway, I’ve never put in so much time, love and money in anything but Monsta X, they deserve it.

omg u said it so well. that is exactly how i feel about them. i am not a teenager and i don't really want to look at young boys and think they are sexy, so i don't gravitate towards most boy groups and don't vibe with most of their songs; but with monsta x i feel like i can enjoy their music (which is very much my style) and their looks (without feeling like a pervert, except for shownu cuz he makes me feel things). and like u pointed out even though i have a favourite there are no members that i am not interested in because each and every one of them has something that i really like and appreciate. also, i can't get over the fact that they all feel like such great human beings and friends. i never got that feeling from a group of any genre in any country. i only discovered them recently after the collab with french montana, a month after they had a concert in my city (i'm still crying about it) and i am so obssesed with them. they are QUALITY from top to bottom!

Nobody makes music like Monsta x and that makes them stand out so much Monsta x has such a unique style which works so perfectly for them and a video like this goes so well for them since they have the build the looks and everything to makes this mv look good with the concept. I cannot wait for you to listen to the album, I've been with them from the start and I can honestly say that this is their best album to date. I feel like they've really managed to pin down their own sound with Take.1 : Are You There? I'm super proud of them, and I'm so happy to see that they're feeling really confident about this comeback as well. I haven't heard them speak out about the quality of the songs like this before! This reminds me of the Beautiful MV because of the 7 Deadly Sins references. And the Envy tarot card being burnt makes me think of their whole Jealousy theme.

they end the MV so fierce and strong! what I love especially how Minhyuk kinda capture bad ass flower boy *that thorn scene remind me of Rose by LeeHi, and how Shownu look like gentle beast 😍 the music is definitely MonstaX element! which is always so cool!
