This is absolutely, in my opinion, Pentagon's best release. I've always wanted to like them more than I did, I am huge fan of E'Dawn but felt their comebacks were lacking, E'Dawn was used really well in this song and every meshed so well together. I'm hoping this song helps bring them more success! This style suits them so well.

In case you didn’t know before, Jinho (the eldest and also the shortest member) was a former member of S.M The Ballad Vol. 1 (formerly known as Jino) and sang alongside Super Junior’s Kyuhyun, SHINee’s Jonghyun❤️, and TRAX’ Jay. Yep, that is the same guy, believe it or not and he is singing all the high notes in Pentagon now ^^

this is the kinda song that i've been missing with kpop since i became a fan. I was hoping Got7 would continue with this light hearted easy going songs after Just Right but them and other groups kept on going harder and harder every debut and comeback. The only group i can remember to do this lately is highlight and ikon with their last comeback.

I didn't start to love and get deeper into them until I heard "Boss" or "Bad Boy" and "Danger" respectively. About Pentagon: They debuted in late 2016, they just had their first anniversary few months ago. Edawn, aka Hyojong *first rapper with the blonde hair*, he was a street dancer and is a phenomenal performer and a unique rapper who writes the best thought-provoking lyrics. He’s in TripleH together with Hui (Huidawn aka the most significant ship). The guy who harmonized with Dawn’s last rap verse is Jinho(short guy with the cape); although he’s the shortest-cutest he’s the oldest member and the greatest main vocal of the whole industry, if you wanna be blessed with his voice check out “Magazinho”. In TripleH there’s the other sexy vocalist whose name’s Hui (second one to sing after Edawn in first verse), I’m pretty sure you’ve seen his name or picture somewhere, he produced bops such as Pentagon- Like this, Pd101- Never, wanna1- Energetic and now Shine (he wrote it with Dawn, yes people Shine is what happens when huidawn meet). His voice, dance, skills in general are really out of this world, he’s definitely one of the most skilled idols out there. Check him in pentagon maker performances. Hongseok is the one who sings right after Hui in the first verse, he has a honey-like voice, his tone is sweet but his body tho.. The guy with the red shirt who did “My baby!” is Yanan, a Chinese member aka the cutest fluffiest nicest yet a really funny savage. The one with long legs is Wooseok, the tallest maknae ever. he’s a deep voice and aggressive(?) toned rapper. He’s hilarious tho. Yuto is a Japanese member, he’s also a rapper (Rap line: Edawn, Wooseok, Yuto. They produced rap unit songs in the last three albums; Get that drink *or cool rap, Pretty Boys, Do it for fun *in this album) YUTODA is his rap verse intro in most titles and sides as well, and it literally triggers ever freaking universe. Kino is the one with the giant swimming goggles, he’s the official choreographer of most of their routines, he’s also in the maknae line (Kino, Yuto, Wooseok) but he’s an extremely sexy performer *check him in Pentagon- Young (live ver.) Shinwon is the one with the 2-tone hair, aka Gudel *Go Shinwon+ model*, he’s the visual of the group (alongside Yanan and Yeo1). Last is Yeoone aka Changgu, he’s the in-half parted hair guy with red checks, he’s a whole visual as well as a great vocal. He almost didn't make it into PTG (on the show Pentagon Maker) but the group would absolutely not be the same without him(: 1:30 Wooseok is our giant maknae and deep-voiced rapper! This 6'2" '98 liner actually cowrote Wanna One's "Energetic" with Hui. Ugh, so talented amirite? 2:21 YUTODAAAA the Japanese rapper that finishes up the maknae line. A former JYP trainee, used to play baseball for 6 years and has ... no aegyo. lmao

You can't force vibes or moods like if people say to me ''yo you have to check out this group/artist''' i do check them out, and i could most of them time enjoy them but it doesn't always connect just yet. I've been a fan of Pentagon since their debut, but you're totally right!!! They've improved so much since then. My friend and I were literally talking the other day about how a lot of Pentagon's recent releases focuses more on their vocals creating the drop rather than actually having a drop, and somehow it works so well for them! With E'dawn and Hui taking taking charge of the producing more and more their musical stylings has changed drastically, and I love it so much! With Shine I literally cannot get through the song without having the biggest stupid grin appear on my face lmao. Loved your comments! I'm glad Pentagon finally reeled you in hahaha. One of the most underrated Kpop song of all time.. Its mind boggling this song did not achieve the same success as Fake Love by BTS and ikon's Love Scenario. In my opinion, this was the Best Kpop song of 2108! Pop perfection from start to end.
