I had the same reaction when I first watched this. I was like WTF is wrong with this guy? But it actually gets better the longer you get into the interview. I think the boys actually got to him the more they answered his questions and got him more interested since they didn't really hold back too much. Their authenticity and humility were really highlighted by this interview and got me more interested in the group. I saw this interview before the Toni Talks one.

SB19 are pros when it comes to interviews. They've been to much more disrespectful interview by a media person during their own Presscon at the release of "Go Up" and they all handled it so well. I hope you can check that one out too, but you have to prepare your heart. It was a cruel experience for them but it made SB19 more respectful the way they answered the critisism up front.

I saw just a little bit of that in a video that highlighted the inappropriate questions being asked and their responses. It was so bad. The guys were so gracious though and took it very very well and very professionally. If anything, it only showed how truly awesome they are and only showed how stupid and archaic Philippine media is. It was so bad.

I think slowly, you are turning into an A'tin. Your sympathy and admiration for the boys are becoming palpable. Interviews with SB19 are rabbit holes that one can't get out of. Slmt. 💙💙💙

Yup. For me, it was their Korea Times interview that was my rabbit hole. It was the first video ever I watched with them in it and I got more curious. Three years later, I’m still in the rabbit hole and always on the look-out for something new from or about them.

You are not the only one actually felt and notice that gestures of him but SB19 Fans (ATIN'S) just want to be professionals and want to be greatful if SB19 can handle it personally fans can do it too. That is why I have so much respect for both SB19 AND their fans.🤘💪

I agree about your observation of Zach. The first time I watched this interview, I thought he was being too laid back and chill like he just smoked the good weed. He wasn't slurring his words but it seemed he was conducting the interview as a sloth. Kudos to his co-interviewer who was good at picking up the slack.

I actually had to stop many times while watching it before because like what you said he seems like he don't have energy at all I just imagine how awkward it felt for them being interviewed by him and SB19 💙 are so impressive that despite the low energy he got they try their best not to show and still sound cheerful 💙

Your support for SB19 is sooo real not bec they're good but becoz you understand and now know the goodness of their hearts and the struggles they've been thru. Btw... you might want to check out as SB19 Ken / Felip has released the intro to his EP "Complex". Now going viral and making its mark in itunes... Ken / Felip's "Rocksta" Official MV is now released in his YT Channel. Just an intro to his upcoming EP this Feb 3, which according to his interviews is more about his emotions and inner thoughts. This, in particular, speaks of him known to many and him when he's at home and no one's looking. He still have struggles. Kind'a shown in those scenes where everyone's around him bowing or cheering but seemingly not noticing him struggling on the ground. Yep.. Felip / Ken is complex. And you sometimes have to THINK HARD to get his message. Anyways, his message (acc to him) is stop being disappointed about yourself. Embrace your flaws... complexities... bec that's what makes you unique. So just up that MIC hold tight and "ROAR"... the mic being your passion. That's what he said... and he's right. Hope you get to watch it! Thanks!

Thanks for educating us. When I saw this interview I was like “what? He does his interviews like this and he is supposed to be one of the most popular interviewers on this platform?” I agree with you, he could have put out a disclaimer that he’s sick as otherwise I’d think that he is not interested at all and he was just interviewing them ‘coz he had to.

I agree with you Josh. This interview was my first time watching Zach Sang so I had no idea he wasn’t like this with other artists. I was able to tolerate him because his questions were good. 😅

Thanks for your honest reaction josh! At first me too I was like thinking of him being disrespectful to our mahalima. His attitude here is really different from the other videos. But I'm just greatful that the boys still show him a good and positive vibes. And they even go being comedian. But like how our boys respect and answer the interview well. I just think positive about how he speak to them. For my opinion I just can see that he's unhappy.

When I watch your interview reactions, at the end of the video I’m always surprised that it’s already been 15 minutes. (“What? It’s done?”) Your comments and reactions are interesting and I always look forward to the next part.

Thankyou for reacting on SB19 again sir. Our boys always handled any interview. They are very professional, eloquent, witty and humble. The worst interview that they experience is their own GO UP PRESS CONFERENCE. I hope you can bump on that video, but prepare your heart because it was the worst and most hurtful interview they experience. But still they are the humbliest and a good heart gentlemen.

Felt a bit cringe when I first saw this interview as well. Felt as if Zach was going through the motions and a bit disengaged. I think a lot of fans requested this as this was one of the most recent American interviews during their WYAT world tour. They are still happy that the boys got some western exposure to help promote their tour. I’ve never seen any other interviews by Zach and perhaps it’s as you said and he was powering through being sick and medicated. Since you mentioned he doesn’t normally behave this way, I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt. P.S. I am glad the first interview you saw was Toni Talks as I felt the candid structure of that interview showcased their humble background and personalities. Appreciate your genuine support of SB19 and A’tin!

His interviews with SKZ were some of the guys absolute favorites they have ever done. So I would say Zach was having a really rough day. Thank goodness his guests were these wonderful boys. I get the feeling they helped him out a lot when they could have ran the other way with it.

Yeah Zach was definitely off in this interview but more than that they tackled some good points so that’s what kinda makes this interview a little bit bearable to watch even though painfully awkward. Just watching it for SB19.

I listened to this live via radio stream online so I didn't really mind cause I'm not seeing anything haha and the tone of his voice seems okay. I think it's just because it's his first encounter with SB19. He's testing the waters, i guess? I don't know about others but I wasn't offended. And it gets better as it goes on. It was a nice interview. But thank you for speaking up. I'm not familiar with zach so I'm not one to judge him just by seeing one interview.

I didn’t know ZZ before watching this interview so I thought he is chill like that. And his interview style was intended to be very casual and laid back. 😅 I found it refreshing actually. I guess that was a good thing because it didn’t bother me. The highlight of this interview were the questions and the boys being candid and smart about their responses. They all looked great in this interview. Loved it that Ken got to talk a lot, learned some new trivia like the “ending fairy” thing and Pablo being eloquent with his answers. Josh was super confident too and badass. Justin was so shy but still funny. ❤

Hi Josh, thanks for this RV can't wait for the other parts. I also recommend that you watched this interview because on how SB19 handle the show and it was really fun to watch and was so proud with them. I also notice zach's body language too that he acts not energetic..compare to his other interviews, but am more focus on the energy and happy vibes of our mahalima and was excited that they can tell their stories to their international fans 😊

Thanks Josh! And yeah, I had the exact same suspicion at first. I honestly wondered why you reacted to this; I mean yeah, it's in English but I think the Kwento Juan interview is way better. It's up there with the ToniTalks interview, probably even better, since the interviewers are another boy band who are actually personal close friends of the SB19 members. This Zach Sang show is still okay, though, I just probably wouldn't recommend it to someone who wants to learn more about SB19 because it has less content than the ToniTalks and the Kwento Juan interviews. Even the Korean Times interview was more interesting. This one, on the other hand, is more for the long-time A'Tin who would appreciate the boys getting goofy. I half-thought that may be the "Celsius" can he brought contained something else. But you know what, I eventually didn't mind it. Filipino humor in interviews probably don't translate well in English shows, but this whole interview was still quite funny to me. Look at my boys getting flustered how they filled their quota for "Englishing", and they still make fun of it among themselves, lol. I love them. Nothing can faze them at all!

We have the same thought about this interview..this is my least fave interview they had.. that's why i just recommended the kwentojuan episode 5 & 6 where you can really feel the hosts connect to their guests.. still a great reaction tho..waiting for part 2🙂

He did kinda look sluggish here, maybe he stayed up all night. But he did throw in good questions and follow it thru. He did say thought that PPOP is a new thing for him. So, maybe he's a bit wary about his questions. The good thing is SB19 made him interested at the end.

Can't wait for the next episode! I guess the fans was just too excited for SB19 to even notice that Zach wasn't in his usual element.😅 Of the 3 SB19 interviews, that I've watched, they had in LA, this host was the 'less energetic'. First time I've watched the show since SB19 was featured. Had no idea how the host usually is. So maybe he was feeling under the weather during that time if he's not his usual enthusiastic self.

If you want honest, these boys are. If you watch their earlier interviews, they straight up answer questions like "have you ever had a wardrobe malfunction or fart during a performance?" :-)

My thought exactly when I first watched this. I was like....are you really interested?!?!? It feels like you have no choice because this is what sponsor wants.
