Nice light. 👍 Hope it lasts a while for you Andy. Did you or anyone else notice that all the led energy saving save the world light bulbs that are supposed to last 10 years+ that replaced the old incandescent ones usually last for way less time than the old ones used to??

The light output is very good. It looks intelligently designed, I like it. Hopefully that manufacturer uses a good quantity motion detector that lasts. Now maybe someone can send you some magic lubricant for your door hinges. 😅

A guy I worked for used led lights in signs and then started getting them for the shop. A lot of light and low electric cost. The better units have held up well but he got a couple of cheaper ones that didn't last very long. That's the old you get what you pay for I guess. Hope yours holds out. The ones that didn't last he thought was the photocell but he never fixed them as of yet.

Hi Grumpy, I put 300 watts of leds on house last Sunday with good old soldered wires and heat shrink tub on 18 gage wire and buried took me 22 hours. They awesome new floodlights on garage from Ace Hardware and adjusted them for Deputy Sheriffs house across street young couple with 1 year old and she is nurse and world nights and love the lights. I play for awhile with settings. Bottom of sensor has time and sensitive. Keep crooks away

Very nice. I would recommend checking to see if they offer any type of lighting that has 3 or 4 swivel heads that screw in and replace an incandescent bulb for your shed. I use them and love them. LED lighting is the only way to go nowadays. Saves lots of money on utility bills! Hope your harvest turns out great for you this year.

Good review, I just went all solar on my tool shed. Solar motion lights, they seem to work good and are on all the time at 30% then kick to 100% when motion is detected. Let’s see if the china junk lasts, if not Ill go back to 110v and possibly these lights. Thanks for sharing.

looks functional, but for me all of such super bright outdoor LED lights that you see everywhere nowadays are more a form of pollution than anything else -- a negative development. they hurt my eyes. they are often overkill. it's easy to find videos and articles by experts who say that white LEDs, including street lights and car headlights, are actually blue light shining through phosphorus and are damaging to the eyes.

I do like the bright LED lights but find they don't last as long as you would expect. Got them in my workshop & would never go back to florescent. It would be worth looking into these.

Does it have a battery backup in case the power goes off? We have an automatic generator, but added backup would be nice. I also appreciate that in your intro, you run marker disks on your planter. We run all of our equipment “analog”...no GPS! And proud of it. I know it’s the “smart thing to do”, but just hate being reliant on someone else any more than necessary.
