Hello hello!
This is a vlog of a productive rainy day where I also happen to take ADHD medication for the first time. There's a lot of talking in this video about how I'm feeling and I'd like to disclaim that I just wanted to share my personal experience. I'm sure it's different for everyone so take it with a grain of salt!

Woah yesterday was my first day on my meds and the effect is quite similar that what you're describing. It feels like someone's there to understand me.

It always makes me so happy to see ADHD medication work for people! The quiet joy you were radiating after your successful study session was just so nice to see, I know exactly what that feels like and it made me so happy for you. Also when I saw the LA on your calendar I already was like, oh is that linear algebra? And then got excited to see you do the exercise for that :D Just always nice to see a fellow maths student. Generally really enjoyed the video, it was exactly the little bit of calm energy that I needed right now. Also, off-topic but I love the little standing album you have for your photocards (or print-outs?)! I've never seen that before and now I think I need something like that as well. Also it's always fun to randomly see a kpop boy pop up in an unrelated video :D Like, oh hello there Yoongi! (That is him, right? It's a little hard to tell on video. At first I thought it was Changbin.)

I‘m sorry if this sounds stupid but I can‘t help but wonder if you actually left your apartment at the end and left the camera running or did you come right back in and turn it off? 🤭 cheers 🤗

Did you start with 10mg? I was prescribed 10mg and I've been taking it for a week but it's not working for me. I don't feel anything maybe the dosage isn't right. The first time I took it I felt this weird calm sensation but that's it. And after day 1 it just doesn't do anything

I did start at 10mg. I recommend talking to your psychiatrist about it!

My doc gave me exactly 30 5mg pills for 40 days. I did take 10mg one day and was anxious. I'm just frustrated that he stuck me with a child's dose.

@@TanyaDee this is my third day with 54 mg, the first 2 days were great but today I’m feeling weird… I definitely focused as if my life depended on it but for some reason I’m not feeling right now soooo definitely go for a middle ground lol

10mg is a starter dose... make sure you're sleeping enough, eating well, and limit or cut out alcohol completely. I find my meds work best when my health is on track.

Are you still taking them? I've suffered with ADD since childhood and was only recently diagnosed. I'm starting this tomorrow, but I asked for the lowest dose because I'm concerned about side effects.
