hi girl :) as someone who has lots of tattoos (fineline delicate ones), its not neccessary to take off full two weeks from sports the first couple of days are important but if you make sure, there is no friction on the tattoo through clothes and if you just wash the tattoo after sweating and then apply some tattoo balm, you'll be fine

I think the book is La Misma Luna (The Same Moon) unless there is something similar out there! It's originally in Spanish and they made it into a movie. Even if you have no Spanish knowledge, definitely watch it with subtitles bc it is literally so good!! I had to watch it for a Spanish class in middle school and it has always been a favorite :)

a tip for future tattoos is to peel off the translucent bandage after showering so it comes off easier and pulls less on the new ink!
