Honestly I rewrote my master thesis several times until I finally landed on an angle that was new and fresh and really exciting for me - and to this day I am super happy I did it and still proud of what I did. It sometimes takes time to find the right angle and also you have to get more knowledge about the theme to realize that another approach might be better. So, well done!

I felt exactly the same when leaving my undergraduate. I panicked and did a Masters while living at home and worked part time until I figured what I wanted to do. It's definitely a scary time but I have a feeling you'll do well no matter what you decide to do. Luckily I have found a job in education and have been doing that for almost two years and love it. You'll definitely get loads opportunities but the main thing is to trust the process :) (as cliche as it is) but try not to worry and enjoy the last few months. Uni really is the best years of your life. I'd sell my soul to be a student again lol. Best of luck Lydia 💖

All the best for your dissertation. I rewrote my Master's thesis and changed the topic so many times! It is a rough journey, but you will get there! If you ever want to change up your productive uni diaries, I would LOVE to see an updated reading list/book recommendation from you. I always pause when your videos go past your bookshelves, just to see what you're reading at the moment.

Hellooo as someone who's also in their last year of uni I 100% feel this!! I've been having that fear and stress about what to do after my degree for a couple weeks now. I think it's so stressful because this is the first time in my life where I haven't had a plan. During secondary school I knew what I was going to study at uni early on but now I have no clue where I'm going to be this time next year. It's a bit frightening. And I feel you on the dissertation stress too, oh my god, my dissertation has been stressing me out so bad

Excellent vlog to watch - I find that taking time to myself helps a lot to keep me happy (meditation and mindfulness are very good for this) - Please keep uploading what's happening as it helps others to have more motivation to keep on going with any work that they need to do or just to watch to keep them happy

I’ve been watching you since you’re GCSEs and could immediately feel that you just weren’t in the right headspace. As a final nursing school student I totally feel what you mean by trying to balance the Graduation but also the “time after Graduation” it just feels like so much to handle in such little amount of time. I also want to wish you all the best for your Dissertation, we don’t see you struggle like that often but i’m 100% sure you’ll make the most out of it! Much Love 💕

I'm looking at moving to Germany with my boyfriend after finishing uni (I'm from the UK), so I know how frustrating it is to want to get into it but you've got like a load of other things. I'd say hold off until April time, get as much uni stuff done as you can before that then set out a plan for looking into Visa's straight away once you exam's/diss is finished, if you look into it too much now it's just gonna overwhelm you.

From someone who graduated in the past year, you really need to get it out of your head that you need to have it all figured out!!! Have a break after uni! When I graduated I started a waitressing job for a few months before I even started looking for grad jobs and I’m glad I did! Have the rest of the summer to have fun and then start thinking about it! Everything will fall into place 🤍🤍

Definitely check in with your supervisor about it. They might even be able to extend the deadline by a few days to make it more manageable. Dissertation research is unique for everybody and supervisors (in my experience) are willing to accommodate that

omg when you said you aren't focusing on dissertation because you're preoccupied with after uni??? yes!! exactly!! I feel like I've mentally already moved on from uni but I obviously haven't and that makes me extremely unproductive when it comes to dissertation

I can relate as a third year student right now!! Also I work at a careers department so I sometimes use that time to focus on applications, networking and career searching when the job runs dry.

I study Computer Science and we have to do a final project. Working together with a major German car brand means we have some super tight deadlines and I am sooo stressed out 😖 this makes me actually happy that my last year is over in 6 months 🤞🏻 I do prefer this to the thesis I has to write when I finished my degree in economics

I think it's so interesting that you are saying it's not advisable behavior of you to change your dissertation concept, when that is actually exactly what they tell you in my university 😂 (obviously only until a certain point, but in this phase of literature reviewing, we have to do three drafts of topic proposals ("Exposé") and they encourage us to "zoom in" more with every draft
