It blocks only i saved numbers and u known calls. I want to block calls that say “unknown” or “no caller id”

If a new number which is not in my contact list but displayed call me, will that be blocked?

That still does not stop or block the calls .. my phone is on silence unknown callers and I still get a ding on these in the middle of the night... I have even blocked the numbers and they just call on other numbers .. they are getting numbers from some source to use.

okay that's neat, but what I usually do is just go to recent calls, and then dial the unknown number that keeps on calling you. Call the number back and let it ring once or twice, and then hang up. Go to the information icon with the circle, on your recent calls list. Click on it, it will show you the information page for that number, go to the bottom of that, and you will see a option to block contact or number, click on that and be done with that number calling you lol. Thank god for iphones lol. I do it all the time, especially when you need to put your girlfriend in time out lol

Doesn't work. I get 100's of Spam calls a day and 5-6 Unknown calls a day. The unknowns all leave robo voicemails and fill up my box. I have a business and can't change my number. I turned on the "Block unknown" switch...didn't do a thing. Still get Unknowns. And no offense, too much talking for a 30 second solution...that doesn't work. Just sayin'
