I love Skodas. You get the quality, reliability and comfort of a luxury VW for the price of something made in the Czech Republic. It is one of the smartest car brands out there.

Škoda nails a timeless design, even the older Superb models are well loved and they're really VFM with the performance and everything.

Cupholders and start button are really crucial things to talk about…

You know this car is awesome when lights condensation and a bit smaller cupholders are listed as a negative things.

As a previous owner of an Octavia vrs, the lines you like so much on the front lights are actually not aesthetics but functional. They contain the receiving light sensitive elements for the automatic high beams

I don't know about U all but I like start button on key place and that's genius

I saw this on the road and it legit looks beautiful, the last time I was that in awe of a car was probably the first time I saw a Mclaren so I defo think this tops its rivals. I'm not even sure what made it look so great but it just works, and the size of the car gives a real presence on the road because this was huge.

We have a skoda superb from 2007 and still works pretty well

this summer i was in the czech republic and a local told us that it's pronounced škoda (shkoda, same sound as saying "shut")

I have one of these even the L&K version. I'm so happy with it.

The start button is ugly only for you because the European version has the steering wheel on the other side and the button is inside the interior so it is not visible to the driver when getting in.

Well you can't complain abt the start button in the porsche.

Interesting fact, the older generation of this car is a saloon/hatchback, this is because you can open the rear by just a quarter and you can also open the entire rear end, these come with a rear wiper delete from factory.

I am from India and have been in love with Skoda since 2006 (Skoda Octavia 1st Gen) and then Skoda Octavia 2nd gen called Laura in india) since 2020. Also driving Audi Q5 (since 2011) and Volkswagen Taigun (Since Jan23)... Big❤Skoda

just quick fun fact: its pronouced "Sh-ko-da" and not "Sko-da" because of the š letter thats pronouced like "sh"

And just imagine this same perfect looking Škoda Superb in the Dragonskin color 😃. I believe its the best looking Škoda ever, and also not that expensive compared to VW counterparts, which are just more expensive Superb tbh 😆

The previous generation from this had a 3.6 l V6 and all wheel drive. Quick history lesson if you are interested: before the war, skoda made some of the most luxurious cars in the world, including the superb. Many years later when Skoda was just a typical Eastern block manufacturer. VW purchase them because Skoda knew how to make small all aluminium engines which the West did not know how to do. Under VW's ownership, Skoda was made into a bargain basement brand despite the fact that it is older and has more heritage than every other brand in the VAG group. 🙄

Uhm, not really 260kw as you said, it s 280hp.... and it is not narket dependent. Check autodata for future car hp or kw specs.

I’m quite happy with the Start button being in the steering column. Feels very natural after decades of using a key. Central buttons would feel very strange to me, but for the kids coming through who never use a key the centre might be most logical spot for them 🤷‍♂️

Its a great car but I only get it with the 2.0L TDI with 5/6 speed manual. although the latest DSGs are more reliable, still a diesel with manual.

I had the 2015 model, the boot space is absolutely incredible in that car...

I really like how Škoda is basically a Volkswagen with a couple of cut corners. Instead of designing an entirely new center console to fit a start button, they just place it in an existing spot where the keyhole would be on a Golf for example. Small stuff like that keep the prices down and makes these cars available for more people. Brilliant.

So my dad drives a Skoda superb scout it has a TFSI 4 cylinder that makes 272 hp and it's the IV so it has an adisonal Electric motor that makes 48 hp in total 320 hp and not only that the thing is a space ship from the design to the engine is just Awesome

I own a 2016 L&K 280 superb. Stock 0-62 mph measured 5.4 seconds

I had one 2021 and now i bought new one 2023, 4x4 liftback with loads of equipment and its the best car u can buy for 40 and maybe till 60k because its a very good in this class. Much bigger then Eclass and A6 and you can get all same equipment what u can get

That condensation can be result of cracked lights. I had this problem on Skoda too. Bumper is not for bumping anymore ;-)

Yeah, but they made VR6 model that has been detuned from the R36 passat, and they use this car in police here in NZ.

Police in Kosovo have these and they are fully tuned up to 470hp, if they chase u ur done

I’ve worked on it’s brother, the Octavia before. These cars are brutally simple for annual maintenance ie oil change, engine and air intake filters as well as the diesel filter. Would definitely buy one myself!

4 years since we have our 2014 superb outdoor. Really can't say anything wrong about the car. MASSIVE cabin and cargo space. Everything in place. Decent awd, audio, sat nav, seats. Probably there is no other car in this price, which offers the same.

when this model came out, the most envious looks were from VW passat owners xD
