I bought a peugeot 607 about 8 years ago, it was 6 years old at time was $136,000 new as on invoive in glove box, but I bought it at auction with nothing wrong with it for $2000 AUD , I got lucky set of circumstances like his photo on ebay auction was close up of seat bottom half, and he just put car as the title for auction. So people just saw car and a seat and kept scrolling, hardly any views and I only bid, he had 6 cars, bought a seventh in Melbourne and blew clutch on way to Adelaide, he sold the car to oay for clutch and didn't care he got 2k. Anyway everyone made fun of me for it saying it's a piece if garbage, no power because peugeot don't know how to make cars, etc, then everyone who drove in it or drove it had a very very different opinion after. The car was a dream to drive, best car I've ever owned, so comfortable, you can can engage sports steering which gives you more feedback while cornering but otherwise you could keep turning wheel with just your little pinkie finger, round and round whike not moving. Stock stereo and speaker were next level for stock. I got a peugeot 406 as well, 2 door coup , had same motor as 607 but much smaller car and it used to absolutely scream, my mechanic said to me after fixing that he let it out a few times and couldn't believe how much pull it had, then leans in and says hope you do t mind I did it about a dozen times, I just couldn't believe it each time I even called the boys up and said come out and see this, they were blown away too.

They are going based on the older cars catching on fire and locking engine due to no oil but most of the time it’s poor maintenance…

Wait until they find out this car was engineered by the lead German engineers for the BMW M series.

What I don’t understand is that all German brands excluding Porsche have been consistently at the bottom of the reliability charts for as long as these people have been alive yet they complain about Hyundais reliability based off nothing

the veloster? the early years of that model had worse interior but it got upgraded the last year or 2 before ending production

@@youcangetsum6871 i mean its a cheap car regardless its gonna have cheap interior. interior doesnt really bother me much if im getting something in return. its like the corvette, known to just have cheap interior but the car makes up for it.

My first car was a e46 bmw. My 21 Veloster N and my 24 Elantra N are remarkably better. I guarantee you don’t own an M3, but both my Ns have a faster 0-60 and the same electronically limited speed as one. So if we compare that to something you likely own, like a 325i. My cars would literally be lapping yours on a race track and my taillights would disappear fast on a straight road 🤣 drink your poor tears buddy, it’s not anyone else’s fault but yours you can’t afford a car newer than 20 years old 😉🤭
