I had never before finished a gloss or a lipstick. But for first time I finished one. The makeup by Mario moisturizer glow lip serum. In the old version. I really loved it. And the indigo cream treatment from tatcha. Chef kiss ❤❤❤ I have wanted to try the oribe volume spray but the price is stopping me 🙂 Tks for sharing

since there often aren't makeup empties, i'd love to see a video about some of the oldest products in your collections, both what keeps dodging the declutters and what keeps up to/past its expiration point (obv within reason on liquid products). love a long term impression over a first impression when it comes to really getting the most out of your dollar (and knowing if a product that's great upon opening goes completely unstable within a month...)

I really like the Hourglass Unlocked tubing mascara! it has more oomph than your typical tubing mascara and the brush is great for the lower lashes too

I highly recommend Heather O’Neill’s books! she’s from Montreal and all her books take place there but are set in different time periods. i’m reading “the girl who was saturday night” right now and i’m really enjoying it, it got me out of a pretty long reading slump :)

Yes tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow is one of my all time favourite books too! I was also a little skeptical when I read the cover but my friend got it for me for my birthday and I'm so so glad he did. I loved the characters so much and was so invested in their stories.

Oribe texturizing spray is always in my bathroom! And Josie Maran is such a wonderful butter, but I love the vanilla bean apricot scent, so subtle and not sweet.

Tomorrow… is easily the best book I’ve read in like. The last five years. The only books that even come close in recent memory is Franzen’s Freedom, or Visit From the Goon Squad. I have been recommending it to everyone who will listen.

I clicked on this vid not for the makeup but because I saw Tomorrow x3 on the thumbnail! I also got the large print by mistake 😂 We read it for book club recently and I agree I never would’ve picked it up on my own but it broke my heart and put it back together😭

Have you tried the products you took with you on vacation at home? The water (esp in Mexico!) can make a difference in how your hair reacts to products.

Oribe has great styling products but cannot say the same for their shampoos and conditioners! Reading tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow right now! Just started it yesterday so I am excited to see how the story goes!

I LOVED Piranesi and you should definitely read The Overstory by Richard Powers and Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell (also by Susanna Clarke). As for deodorants/scents check out Corpus! They have really nice woodsy smells and the deodorant works really well.

Jamie: Pure Anada, a “natural” Canadian (Manitoba) company that makes makeup, skincare, body care, and other products. My suggestion is their scent, “Woodland Citrus.” It’s part of their Christmas line of products.

I really like the Citrus and Herbal Musk deodorant from Native. At the stores near me it’s typically over with the mens deodorants, but it’s one of my favorites. I switch between that and Midnight Jasmin and Sage ☺️

Just FYI, I did see that deodorant at my local TJ Maxx. I couldn’t buy it because it has an ingredient I’m sensitive to, but maybe you could find a few more there (or the Canadian equivalent) to hold you out!

Jamie, I recently read the book “Remarkable Bright Creatures” and it was so so good. A beautiful story, so well told. A book I didn’t think I’d be interested in and it turned out to be amazing! ❤ highly recommend

Although this deodorant doesn't smell as yummy as the one that's sadly been discontinued, Biossance's deodorant is effective, smells fresh and clean, and I'm in love with it - cannot recommend enough.

I have the same thoughts about the Oribe shampoo and conditioner in the yellow bottles, alchemist formula. However, the pureology hydrate sheer S/C is amazing for deep moisture yet not too heavy for my curls. Smells great too

You got me onto that Josie Maran body butter years ago and I love it and always have one. That and the Le Labo one are my favorites. After a while the Le Labo scent can be a little strong. I did just buy the Caudalie one in the purple tub. Haven’t tried it yet but I heard it was great. Have you tried it? I always end up liking your recommendations but the Holi Frog AHA/BHA was sadly not one. It’s too mild. I bought and used it each night but on night 3 I was washing my face and I instantly knew that my face needed exfoliating. I thought maybe it was my face fuzz growing back. So I exfoliated with Exfolikate and my skin was great. And then exactly 3 days after that the same happened with the Holi Frog just not cutting it. I’d need to use it twice a day but if I’m going to do that, I’ll stick with my usual P50w that my aesthetician got me using a year ago. It’s perfect. I like both your makeup removing products but since I discovered the Clearly Clean balm by Farmacy, I won’t buy any others. It dissolves into an oil, emulsifies beautifully, doesn’t leave any film on my skin and doesn’t sting. It is divine.

Empties are so satisfying! I actually didn’t care for the Em Cosmetics Pick Me Up mascara! It didn’t do very much for me. I much prefer the Thrive Causemetics tubing mascara.

Just an FYI, the Skinceuticals product does NOT contain any glycolic acid. If you read the description properly, it says that it contains UREA, at a percentage that makes it more effective than a 20% glycolic treatment, without the irritation.

I have about 1-2 uses left of my deodorant in that fragrance! I’m trying to decide what to try next and am leaning toward the Necessaire one in Eucalyptus or the new Corpus spray versions.

@@willowashe I haven’t tried it! I did like the Kosas one that is supposed to be similar (and a little cheaper/more product) but I didn’t love the scent. Could I buy the unscented one, sure… but for some reason I insist on my deodorant having an extra nice scent of its own 😂
