Thats how they do it in Brazil and other countries in south America. Don't need to let ppl rip you off with 5 or 6; thousand dollars counter top With a couple hundred of dollars you can have a nice kitchen You can also build island the same way.

No it won't. Such kitchen tops are used for decades but with rough looks. This one is clean and nice. The only thing that will become loose is the tile put on the wall painting.

Shelving underneath and a door will certainly make the below space more attractive. I would paint the walls white or grey. That green is off putting. But Great work
