Looks good! The reason why it can be flat patterned was bec of 2 curves in different planes will not work unless you use the forging machine to do the job

My opinion is that the reason why some sheet metal parts cannot be unfolded is that the measured area of the folded/unfolded part surface is different. In my Romanian language, that kind of part is called „ambutisate”.

What do you mean? If you want to make a big cylinder, for example, create firstly a quarter segment, then place the four segment in an assembly (iam), constrain the segments, apply Environment/Convert to Weldment and weld the segments.
